We have been coming to Brevard from our home in South Carolina for many years. Finding this home on West Main Street is a dream come true for us, because now we can visit any time and enjoy all that downtown Brevard has to offer. It's all within walking distance, and we are excited to be able to share it with you! FREE activities including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing.

Our home features three bedrooms, two full baths, a living room and a den. There is lots of room to get comfortable and relax. We also have a deck and a fire pit. There is a secure storage shed that's perfect for your bikes.

We are located on West Main Street, just a short walk to downtown Brevard. Check out the shopping, dining and scenery as you walk down Main Street. A favorite is Main Street Ltd., a great gift shop right next to Quotations Cafe. Of course, Brevard is home to the renowned Brevard Music Center, also walkable from our house, and is host to annual festivals including the White Squirrel Festival in early June, great 4th of July festivals, the Mountain Song Festival every September, and lots of fun activities on Halloween (Brevard is in Transylvania County, after all).

Be sure to check out the event calendar for the Porter Center, which is the performing arts venue for Brevard College. You should check out Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Forest, both a short drive away, and it takes only about 20 minutes to get to the beautiful Gorges State Park. Asheville and Hendersonville are both nearby, and they feature lots of attractions if you want to take a day trip or two.

Please note also that the third bedroom does not have a door, but a curtain instead.

Easy check-in with combo lockbox for access. Very comfy furniture, with the only glitch being the very loud creaky sound the bed makes when you move to get out of it (maybe the box spring?). Kitchen is small but served our needs. Quick walk to Downtown. Yes, the house is on a steep hill, so if you are impaired or use a walker/cane, it would not be an easy walk, but for anyone else it should not be a problem- I am in my mid 50s and not in great shape, and it was not an issue for me. Great Fall leaf color, and close enough drive to get to all the trails to see the waterfalls and for my husband to go mountain biking.

Another Great Stay

We found the house exactly as described. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was equipped with various small appliances.We liked the closeness to downtown, but if you’re not used to hilly NC, it can be a surprise. The driveway is in a middle of a hilly street.

Perfect location for visiting the Brevard Music Center

We were involved in a musical event at the BMC for the week and were able to drive back and forth in minutes each day. and night. We each had our own bathroom which was a plus and the kitchen galley was outfitted with all we would need in a kitchen. The tv room became our practice area. It is right off the driveway on one level, easy in and out with our instruments. Fun week!

Close to Downtown Brevard

This property was ideally located for exploring downtown Brevard. The layout is long and narrow which was unusual and no more than 1 person can be in the small kitchen at a time. Also, the 2nd bathroom is in the clear opposite side of the house from the bedrooms. Not deal breakers but noteworthy. And the bedrooms are hot and stuffy. My husband slept in the child's room most nights. But overall, it suited our needs very nicely. It was as described and the rental company was extremely thorough and proactive with instructions and information. We hope to stay again when it's cooler and we can take advantage of the fire pit!

Quick Getaway

This was perfect for our quick weekend stay in Brevard. We loved how easy it was to walk to downtown Brevard - it’s also a super quick drive to get to the mountains. Overall, it was exactly what we were looking for and we really enjoyed our time!

Nice Place, but not for those who don't like air fresheners

The house served our purposes very well, but the cloying smell from the plug-in air freshener was overwhelming. Now that we are home we have to launder even the clothes we didn't wear to get the smell out.

Great Location, ok house

We chose this house due to the dog friendliness and the location. Having stayed in the area many times, I really appreciated being close enough to walk to the downtown area and just a short drive to Pisgah. The house itself was adequate, had the basics we needed, but could use some love. It is well situated with a deck and fire pit that feel like you are in the forest even though its on Main st. Unfortunately they have neglected that area, the deck needs a repaint, there is a rotting picnic table and broken plastic chairs, a few cinder blocks for a grill. For the price they are getting on this rental, those kind of things should, and could easily be improved.

Nice House, Good Location

Overall great house and we’d stay again! House and linens were clean. Paper goods, soaps, extra towels were well stocked. Walking distance to downtown if you don’t mind a hill. Good proximity to Pisgah, DuPont, Caesar’s head. Property manager very responsive (no issues just wanted a vacuum). House is cozy and we found the space very useable. Plenty of space for everyone. This may be mentioned somewhere but, one bedroom does not have a door just a curtain. This was not an issue because the den/family room is on the other side of the house and a couple steps down with a full bathroom. Our littlest (2 1/2) had no issues sleeping in there while we were up. The kitchen is also separated enough to be up making coffee and breakfast without waking him. There is a fire pit with wood provided. The house is tucked into wooded area with a lot of vegetation with there are a normal amount of expected mosquitos so bring bug spray.

Great Stay

We loved the property! The layout was nice and I loved how the house was decorated! It was very clean and the beds were comfortable! Was a plus having 2 bathrooms! It was great being so close to downtown Brevard! We have never stayed this close in town before so that was nice and it was a short drive to Kanuga and Dupont! We saw a white Squirrel 2 times so that is definitely a highlight of the trip! Also being pet friendly is wonderful in my book! I never leave home without him!
