It is not new by any means. It is a very simple, convenient home. The "Farm House" is located in the perfect place for a jumping off place for either a drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway or the middle of Brevard. The grounds are well maintained and that is noticed. It was a stressful time during Helene and the Farmhouse had everything you could need to be comfortable. It is located in a perfectly lovely area with a view out the kitchen and a sweet front porch to relax and watch the sunrise. Paul is a superb host - kind and responsive he goes above and beyond. We liked this home for the nice porch swing, closeness to Main Street but there were many amenities that we find at our other stays but were not here. For example, no seasonings to cook with, no soap in bathroom or kitchen which was a problem since there is no dishwasher and no coffee just the coffee pot. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Brevard but are hopeful that some of the common amenities for being away from home would be there next time. ##### Karen L.
