There is a separate structure you see in the pictures of the detached garage. It is dedicated for the owners and is not accessible for the guests. The owners will not be occupying during your stay :) Sleeping: Master bedroom has a Cali King and full bathroom. Loft upstairs has a Queen and private balcony. Bottom floor has a full bathroom, Twin over Full Bunk bed and a Queen Sofa bed for additional sleeping space. If you will be bringing a dog with you, it must be 12 months or older We do $100/dog and no dogs on furniture and do not leave them alone at the home uncrated. Pack-n-play provided - please bring your own baby linens. \*\*\*\*Please note this home is not baby proof. This home isn't ideal for on-the-go toddlers. The space in between the banisters of the stairs is wider than usual. We have protection screens but still it is not ideal. \*\*\*Guest Testimonials\*\*\* Richard: This place was beautiful! We stayed for Thanksgiving week and it was fantastic. The kitchen had everything you could imagine and then some. Very well stocked, just like you would have at home. Everything was very clean and smelled good. Fireplace inside was so cozy and was perfect. Outside fireplace was perfect for roasting marshmallows and enjoying the cool air. Hot tub was nice and clean and relaxing. Nothing negative to say about our stay. Gorgeous Jess: Our family of 5 truly enjoyed our stay here. The house was very comfortable with a large dining table for eating and playing games, a great TV setup downstairs, and a cozy fireplace. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and we also loved the hot tub. The neighborhood was a pleasant surprise with all sorts of natural beauty. We found a trail within walking distance of the house and had an amazing morning hike! Courtney: We loved our stay here, so cute and cozy and the outdoor deck space is awesome! We appreciated the space being well stocked and the tasteful decor. The TV downstairs is huge. I’ve watched the movie Frozen like 20 times and it was like seeing it for the first time on that giant screen! Michael was super helpful and responsive to all of our needs. Would stay here again! Cheryl: We so enjoyed our stay at the K-Chalet. The home is beautifully decorated and has everything you need to make your stay perfect. No detail was left unturned. The setting was so serene and peaceful, from the large outdoor deck with fireplace and hot tub to the comfortable rocking chairs to enjoy a cup of coffee. The beds were also very comfortable, and cozy. We hope to come back again to enjoy all the area has to offer. Bonus of the trip, we did get to see four black bear walking up the path as we were enjoying our coffee on the deck. Also, if you like to golf, Connestee Golf Club is a must. The home was exactly as advertised, beautiful property! We saw so many deer throughout the neighborhood, and loved the hiking trails available right there in the neighborhood. The home is well maintained and cared for, and the outside deck areas are what made this home perfect for our family. We spent most of our time out there and loved it. My family and my parents spent Thanksgiving weekend at this lovely chalet and I'm happy to share that there were so many aspects of the experience that went above and beyond my expectations. The kitchen was so well stocked we had zero issues preparing a big meal, this was a place where you can tell the owners go b/c there are details that make the place feel like a home which brings so much warmth and personality to the space- in short, everything from the extra towels for the hot tub, skylights, amazing fireplace, views from the porch and the hot tub, comfy firm mattresses and outside fireplace and dining area made our stay one I'll fondly remember for many years. The hosts left a helpful guide with things to do close which proved to be helpful when we didn't want to drive far for a short hike with the kids. My only caution to future guests would be anyone up in the lofted bedroom should not be someone who is a light sleeper or wants to sleep later than the rest of the guests as noise carries easily to the loft. We did have a sound machine with us that helped with this and tended to go to bed and wake up around the same time which made it not a big deal for our family. The pictures shown in the listing are absolutely accurate except the experience in person is needed to fully comprehend the beauty and peacefulness of this home. Everything was impeccably clean, well organized and labeled. The upper and lower decks are so peaceful - we really enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs, bird watching and enjoying the light breeze. The host checked in with us by email during our stay to ensure everything was ok and to see if we had any questions. The home is well equipped with alot of towels and the kitchen has plenty of appliances, plates and utensils. The cabin has been well taken care of over the years and is outfitted with a retro feel. The host had everything well stocked and appointed. Communication was great.
