Aug 25, 2024 #### Beautiful location While the location of the house is beautiful and the views are amazing, the house needs some attention. The house needs to be cleaned top to bottom inside and out. We did report a few cleaning issues upon arrival and they promptly came to address those issues. While we know we rented a pet friendly home, we are not pet owners and do not expect to be able to sweep up pet hair off the floor, which was the case. Also, the pictures of the deck need to be updated. The furniture on the deck hasn't looked like that in years. The red cushions on the deck furniture were worn, faded, dirty and torn. We tried flipping them over, but the underside was covered in pet hair. We would have enjoyed the deck had there been nice furniture to sit on. The floors need a good scrubbing as they are sticky. You definitely did not want to walk in bare feet. The house is located on a very quiet cove. The other houses in the cove are very upscale. Everything from the style of the home, to all the amenities that was on the house for us to use, to the AMAZING VIEWS of the White Mountains. My family and I did not want to leave. It was so peaceful and relaxing. My kids loved the rooms and how at home the house felt. It sleeps 8 people just fine but there is only 1 couch that fits 3 or 4 people. No chairs in the bedrooms and no chairs to relax and read. No dressers in the bedrooms...everything was on the floor. The kitchen was nicely appointed with new appliances and newer cookware. I appreciated that very much. The dining table seats 8\. We did enjoy our stay. ##### Marcia A. A few complaints that aren't deal breakers but would have been nice to know or we should have asked before booking. The hot tub is not big and can only fit 2 grown adults comfortably. They show that there is a shuttle for the ski resort area but there is not. The worst part about the house is the heat, very very noisy in all bedrooms when running . Jul 25, 2021 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location #### Nice quiet location The property was a nice location on Bretton Woods ski resort however it’s important to know that nearby dining locations are quite limited. Also, we stayed for two separate week plus periods and would not recommend for these types of longer stays due to consistent poor quality internet connection and the stuffiness when it’s warm due to no AC. We were working remote for half the period and we were challenged at numerous times accessing internet and accessing conference calls. Our main goal was hiking and we found many nearby trailheads with varying levels of difficulty. We also played golf at Bretton Woods and Maple Wood in nearby Bethlehem. We preferred Maple Wood for the course and the green fees were much lower. If you like craft beer, we recommend Rek Lis brewery and restaurant, in Bethlehem. Good food and service. This was a very nice location to do anything related to a summer get away, leaf peeping, to winter sports. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. No need to bring charcoal because the charcoal grill listed is actually gas. But they did have full gas containers so it wasn't a big issue. Enjoy the mountains, stay for the hot tub! ##### Rob G. So peaceful being in Bretton Woods off season. Loved that we were able to travel with our golden. Defiantly hope to return soon. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to prep an Easter meal. My only suggestion would be to replace the larger “no stick” fry pans.
