"Great central location, very friendly engaging team running the hotel. The building feels a little tired and quirky but that is part of its charm. Overall very good, recommended, but expensive. "

"The hotel was generally comfortable and cosy. I enjoyed my 4-night stay but was disappointed by the cleanliness of the restaurant, including floor, tables and chairs. Only on the Monday morning did I witness a friendly, competent member of staff making an effort to improve and maintain the restaurant’s cleanliness. No matter the time of day, the restaurant floor was repeatedly found unvacuumed. In the room, the toilet bowl was clean, but the rim had not been cleaned for sometime. Overall I would return to the hotel as my stay was comfortable, but I hope the cleanliness would have been improved. "

"Excellent friendly staff very clean hotel though out the only thing that could have been better was the lunch and dinner menu not much choices also I noticed pool quite cold for me and shower and bath water was just warm not hot and I like a hot bath not a warm bath. "

"Room was a bit tatty and the light switch turned off the socket at night which was not helpful to charge a phone."
