Perfect for a family getaway, the home comes furnished with a variety of child-friendly amenities and features including games and a playroom. Adults will enjoy unwinding in the in-home sauna after the day's adventures. Take in sunset views while enjoying al fresco dining out on the private deck equipped with a gas grill. The great room and large, open kitchen combine for the perfect indoor entertainment space. Enjoy movie and game nights beside the river rock fireplace or keep the cook company around the expansive breakfast bar while they prep the evening's meal. The house apparently been added on to several times which allows for multiple seating areas. The views are wonderful and watching the tides go in and out was enjoyable. The kitchen was extremely well supplied and the bathrooms had the best showers. We drove into Poulsbo and found it to be a great village for unique shops and delicious food. The driveway may have been difficult to see and maneuver in the dark but we arrived earlier. We would definitely stay here again. It's perfectly located between the Olympic Park (2 hours drive), Ruby Beach (3h), Mount Rainier (2.15h), and Seattle (65 miles away). The house itself was equipped with everything we needed, even sauna, however we didn't use it. Very quiet and relaxing place, gorgeous view of the mountains, we spotted many animals in the water. We saw harbor seals right below us from the deck most days. Calm and serene...however...the place had not been cleaned very well. Had to call the host to get cleaners back out for a whole list of items. No up-to-date lock (electronic) on front door. It locked us out one Sunday evening for 2 hours while the host tried to get a locksmith out there. Only one key; nobody else had a spare. Wifi didn't work so Smart TV didn't connect; I had to go elsewhere to work on laptop. Sauna took more than an hour to heat up and even then wouldn't produce steam for dry sauna.
