Located within a charming 5-acre property shared with four other homes, this modern cottage offers guests the experience to explore the property where you will find a fruit orchard, waterfall, fountain courtyard, waterfront with firepit and access to kayaks and SUPs. Please be advised the walk down the hill side path to the beach is a 5-minute walk for most. The pathway can be slippery when wet, so anyone with mobility issues should have someone else evaluate the path for them before beginning the walk down. We do ask out of respect for other guests on the property, that outdoor noise is limited between 10pm-8am. As you step inside, you\`ll be greeted by an inviting interior adorned with a natural wood ceiling and tasteful industrial accents, creating a cozy yet stylish ambiance. Beautiful views! There was some negatives for us as a family of 4 it was much too small. The sofa mattress was not a true mattress it was more like a convertible sofa/futon and was smaller than a regular bed and super uncomfortable. We had to go buy an air mattress as only one person fit on it. The sofa itself was very uncomfortable. The patio furniture was uncomfortable. No dishwasher so you’re scrubbing dishes on vacation. We eat at home for everything due to food allergies so this was a concern for us. Especially since we realized this meant a risk for cross contact if the prior guest did not wash items well. The trek down to the beach is really steep. It was not exactly an easy trek down or back up. We didn’t utilize the beach, kayaks or SUP more then once due to this. The furnishings and decor are so stylish, and the view is to die for. From the moment of booking, the experience was seamless and smooth. There was even a personal note and some welcome goodies. When I arrived the house was spotless, well-lit, cozy and welcoming. There is a wonderful sloping path down to the water and a beach to stroll on at low tide. The wind whispers through the leaves and birds of all types abound. Everything was in perfect order, and the bed, chairs and sofa were very comfy. It is a little tight getting to the far side of the queen-size bed in the bedroom, but with the lovely view from the bed you barely notice. Other than that, it is perfectly appointed, and just a perfect getaway cottage. I enjoyed every minute and would definitely return when I’m in the area again. ##### Marnie P.
