### AWESOME LAKEFRONT HOME on Smith Lake

\*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\*  
This three-level home sits on a secluded, wooded lake front lot with approx 150 feet of water frontage. It was designed for multiple families with kids. The view is absolutely spectacular with views of the beautiful clear water from all bedrooms, great room and game room. It has roughly 3100 square feet and has an additional 1700 square ft of decks and screen porches. There are two great rooms, one for the adults on the main level and a second for the kids (loft area). The main level great room has a tongue and grooved couffered ceiling with a gas fireplace. Beautiful! The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, and the kitchen also has breakfast area along with 2 additional bar stools for additional seating. For outdoor cooking, there is a large GAS Weber grill on the main level deck overlooking the beautiful lake.   
  
On the main level there is a master bedroom (queen), with two bedrooms on the upper level (queen in each, with pack n play crib and toddler bed in one of the upper bedrooms) that share a large bath with shower. Also, on the upper level is the loft area equipped with a sofa bed and TV/Stereo system. On the terrace level, there is a fourth bedroom (queen and two rollaways with thick foam mattress) with its own shower. All baths are tile and all baths are large showers only. No tubs.   
  
On the main level, is a laundry room equipped with washer and dryer for your use.   
  
The game room (NEW TV HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE GAME ROOM) is on the terrace level equipped with foosball, pool table and one of the outside decks is right off the game room for easy access outside, where there is outdoor seating areas, table/4 chairs, 1 chaise lounge. There is a small kitchen area, also, on the terrace level equipped with appliances (dishwasher, toaster oven, fridge , microwave - no stove on terrace level) for easy access to decks and lake area. ALL RAILINGS ARE CHILD-SAFE.  
  
The boat dock is a two slip dock with large swim platform and a covered area with table/4 chairs, plus 4 chaise lounges. There is a jet-ski platform for two jet-skis and 2 open boat slips for your use. In the on-season we have 60'+ of deep water off the end of our dock; in off-season we have 40'+ deep water off the end of the dock.   
  
What attracted us to Smith Lake is that it is rated as the third cleanest lake in the country. There are 500 miles of shoreline and a depth of 265 feet at the dam with over 21,200 acres of water. Much of the lake is in the Bankhead National Forest with miles of undisturbed wooded shores and spectacular views of large rock shorelines, cliffs, waterfalls, rock overhangs, and other scenic features. Makes for some wonderful pontoon boat rides! No matter what type of leisure, water sports, sightseeing or fishing you prefer, the cleanliness and beauty of the lake make them all more enjoyable. But above all, probably to us, just the peacefulness the lake itself has to offer.   
  
Note: The house is:  
1) 15 minutes from 18-hole golf course   
2) 10 min from 'local' restaurants; 15-20 min to a good variety of restaurants @ Cullman  
3) 1 hour from Huntsville's NASA  
4) 12 min from local grocery; interstate 65; gas stations  
5) 15 min from a local Walmart- if you have to go !!  
6) 10 min from a large antique mall.  
7) 7 min from local ATV park (Stony Lonesome))  
8) bringing a boat; boat ramp is about 20 min to launch boat.   
  
\*\*\* PLEASE NOTE: BOAT TOURS via TREETOPS:  
Coming to Treetops without a boat? : We have a neighbor (David & LeeAnne) who will happily provide Boat Tours of this area of the lake. If your family wants to see the most interesting areas of Smith (the Castle, Goat Island, Big Bridge, exquisite homes, Smith Lake Park, Miller Flats, Trident Marina). We can 'without a doubt' recommend David to do these tours THROUGH TREETOPS. There is space for up to seven passengers, and life jackets will be provided. The price is $250 and the Boat Tour will last approximately two hours.

Treetops is a lovely lake home. I cooked several meals during our stay with great ease. The kids and adults enjoyed the dock and kayak. My favorite was the fire pit and s'more making. Everyone had a lovely time carving pumkins, decorating cookies, and building haunted cookie houses.

#### Fantastic home!

This home is so beautiful! From the crown moulding to the hardwoods! We stayed for a week in July with family and friends rotating in and out, plenty of room and sleeping spaces for different ages and genders. Three full bathrooms, what a plus! Lots of deck spaces and a screened porch with nice furniture. Plenty of parking also.

We had so much fun at Treetops. The home is beautiful and perfectly situated for maximum entertainment. The owners have thought of everything and are so kind to make sure everything goes well. The beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, the views are amazing, the screened in porch is so comfortable and spacious, and the game room has hours of entertainment for kids and adults. Thank you so much for a wonderful week of memories. We will be back!

#### Stunning House

I travel a good bit with my teens for horse shows and fishing tournaments. I always seek out properties that feel like a home away from home. This house fit it perfectly! The house decor was absolutely gorgeous, with a lived in vibe. The pool table was a hit with the teens. I loved walking around the house in the morning, sipping coffee and admiring the beautiful furniture and pictures. The walk to the water is steep (but fitted with handrails) so that was my cardio for the day. The views make it all worth it.

We had an amazing stay at this property! The house was absolutely perfect—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Every question I had was answered promptly, with responses coming in under two hours each time, which made our experience smooth and stress-free. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for the listing description is that the pictures on the site don't do the place justice. They don’t capture just how beautiful and serene this property really is. It felt like a hidden gem, almost like being in the mountains, with a peaceful atmosphere that exceeded our expectations. Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

#### Family trip to Treetops at Smith Lake

Treetops was everything we hoped it would be and more! There were 11 of us ages 9 - 72 and we all had a great time! The owners were so nice and helpful with anything we needed or any questions we had. The house was clean, spacious, kitchen had everything we needed, beautiful house inside and beautiful scenery outside. It was great having 3 stories so we could all spread out and have plenty of space. The pool table, ping pong table, foosball, kayaks and hot tub were all a big hit! Nice furniture on the dock. If we ever come back to Smith Lake, Treetops is where we will want to stay. No complaints at all!

#### Thanksgiving!

We were so thankful to find a place large enough for our family to all be together for Thanksgiving. The house is beautiful and well laid out to allow some privacy for everyone. We all love Smith Lake and love the view from the house. The weather was nice enough that we were able to spend time on the screened in porch. I would definitely recommend this home!

#### Beautiful get together place for families and friends

The house was beautiful. Very spacious, very accommodating for all age ranges. Plenty of room for multiple families to sleep and play. The host was very responsive to any questions and most everything you could want or need for your stay was at the house for use. The screened in porch is serene and wonderful for relaxing and drinking coffee. It is a long way down to the lake but a great dock for relaxing and plenty of room for a boat or fishing if wanted. Overall my group of friends and their families really enjoyed the stay. Would go again.

#### Beautiful lake house

Our family had a fantastic visit to Smith Lake and Treetops. The home is more beautiful in person, very clean and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and fun game room. The location is great, home is very close to I-65\. The home is located in a slough with great views of the water. We wound definitely stay here again!
