Trash, cleaning rags and dirty towels were in the bathroom. The blow dryer was on the floor. I called the front desk and no one would respond until I sent pictures. A bit later an attendant arrived who could not speak English and had no idea what he was supposed to do. No one called to follow up or apologize. I will not stay at a Vacasa managed property again. Downtown is easily accessible by foot and the area is incredible. Also, hiking was right out the door. One negative, no matter how small, was the upkeep of the unit . The transition from carpet to tile was separated and if you hit that spot just right you felt the carpet tacks. A simple threshold piece would correct this. Otherwise the unit was very clean. Very comfortable. The housekeeping could have been better. The remote control was sticky and there was hair left on the shower wall. We also found random socks in various locations. Another issue was that there was A LOT of noise early Sunday morning. I think maybe it was related to trash pickup - but it just went on and on. Very disruptive to sleep - prior to 8 am on a Sunday. Annoying. Finally - there needs to be better explanation that the room is in the WEST side. And there needs to be signage of the WEST side. There is NOTHING marking that in the garage or on the outside. There are several markings for the East Water House elevator - which makes it seem like it's the only one. So we went up the wrong elevator with all of our stuff - and had no idea where the room was. The next day, we helped someone else who had made the same error. They need to explain that better at the front desk.
