Steps to Slopes at the Base of Peak 9 - Time to Book for the Fall Colors!

Unit B-106 is located in the Lift Condominiums in Breckenridge and is just a short walk from Main St, the Village & the Quicksilver Lift (Peak 9) at Maggie Pond. The base of Peak 9 also includes ski school, ski rentals, The Maggie Restaurant, a wine & cheese store, a candy store, escape rooms, a yoga studio, & so much more. Not to mention we're also right across the street from the Breckenridge Ice Arena. Safe to say, once you're settled in then you won't need to drive anywhere!

The condo has been recently updated throughout. With over 1,100 sf there is a little bit of space for everyone. The Columbine / Lift community has 4 hot tubs, a heated pool, and a sauna all for your enjoyment after a long day on the slopes. Looking for other shopping and dining? We are located just a 4 minute walk from Main St and all the fun of downtown Breckenridge.

Great location

We were able to walk to Main Street where we had lunches and dinner. The unit is very well stocked with everything we needed. We were surprised however that there was no air conditioning. But the mountain air did cool off in the evenings. Great place!

Wonderful family vacation.

House is exactly as described and better! Master bedroom bed was very comfortable, a firmer memory foam mattress with great sheets! The pillows were fluffy so if you prefer a firmer pillow bring your own! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. Very thankful we found this place!

Great Location and beautiful property!

Walking distance to Breckenridge Village for lift access, shopping, and dining. Property was clean and easily accessible. Management answered all of our concerns and provided a clean and beautiful condo. Highly recommended for skiing with families. Definitely will stay again!

Great location, great property, many nice touches

We can for 5 days of skiing. We did nothing but eat in, ski, then retire at night. The condo had many nice touches: great art, great layout, lots of kitchen cookware, serve ware, and a well stocked coffee bar area. The living room had several cozy throw blankets. The starters for many items were well stocked: dishwashing soap, paper towels, laundry soap, etc. Loved the hot tubs nearby after skiing. The property was a 5 min walk to the lift. So so convenient! The downfall was unfortunately for us a pretty impactful one: all of the beds were very uncomfortable. I’m not a very picky person with beds. I feel these mattresses do not fit with the price point we paid for this rental for a week. In the master the mattress sloped down towards the head. We turned and slept with feet towards headboard. We found ourselves rolling also into middle. The teens tried the Queen and twins. The queen was the best of all options, but not up to par with a luxury rental. We tried to pull out the additional bed in living room but the one piece wanted to roll out away from the couch part. The leather couch was where my kids crashed most nights. It’s very comfortable but not really an ideal sleeping option. The bottom line is that if you need a good nights rest after active days on the slopes, I’d keep searching if beds are not updated. We also found it to run warm. The temperature was set pretty high upon our arrival. It took awhile for it to come down, and noticed air temp was often high red than we set thermostat. It’s clear that this group has a lot of great ideas for property rentals. I’d suggest a guest sign in book, new mattresses, possibly something for entertainment in master (tv, speaker, books…) and then it’d be hard to beat!

Great location but it lacks

The condo had great proximity to shopping and the Breck experience. I simply could not take one more night on either of the mattresses. They were very uncomfortable and the king size bed was impossible. The draperies and blinds were very difficult to adjust and consequently the condo felt very stuffy. Of note, the carpet was gross. Trip hazards existed every time you exited a carpeted area. The furniture was very uncomfortable with the leather couch being almost impossible to get out of. It was broken down and sank low to the ground. On a positive note, we did have quick responses from owners when issues arose with accessing the property.

Fall getaway

We enjoyed our fall stay in Breck. My husband commented that the condo was even nicer in person than in photos, which is rare. Location was convenient—just a short walk to Main Street. The pool and hot tubs are an even shorter walk from the condo. Pool is heated and warm enough for kids to swim in with the ambient temperature in the 60s. Hot tubs were great to soak in. Condo was cozy and comfortable. The smart TVs were great for the kids to stream shows. Kitchen worked well for our needs, but the dishwasher and oven are small, and there are only 2 burners on the stovetop, so don’t plan to cook a full Thanksgiving meal. I’ve read in previous posts that the owners are making updates as they go along. My only complaints would be older cookware (no good pans for cooking eggs, though even nonstick pans don’t stay nonstick for long) and the mattress on the queen bed was uncomfortable. My husband had no complaints, but I didn’t sleep well on it. Hopefully that mattress is the next item to be replaced. The king bed was quite comfortable. I can’t speak about the bunk beds myself, but my kids slept well and didn’t complain. Kat was very responsive and very pleasant. Overall, it was a great condo and great experience.

Great place, great location

We had a great time in Breckenridge and this rental was perfect for our four adults and three kids! We wished we had found the fans on the first night to keep the bedrooms cool but, other than that, it was perfect. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location!

The property was clean and had all necessary amenities. We love the location of The Lift, close to Main Street and an easy walk to stores and restaurants. The ceiling in the condo is concrete, which makes it look unfinished and somewhat dirty. Very easy to get ahold of owners if needed!

Perfect location

Expectations

It didn't look like the pictures. The place needs a makeover. There was a hole in the flooring, the pans were horrible,molding was missing, the jets in the bathtub didn't work. We didn't know it was on the second floor. My daughter is in a boot, so it was hard for her and bringing the luggage up the flight of stairs was difficult. The lighting was harsh in the bedroom and I didn't expect to see a cement ceiling with exposed pipes. The place was not clean, there was popcorn on one of the beds, the dining room table was dirty, there was a dead bug on the bathroom floor. The patio had trash in it and the table should have been wiped down. The pool was very dirty with bugs but the jacuzzi was nice. The rugs were very old. I would not stay there again.
