The 2 queen room worked well for my son and I. Beds were comfy and kitchenette made it easy to prep a simple breakfast. It would be tight for a family of 4. Location is great on shuttle close to town and gondola. but a bit of road noise on the west side.

The hotel was close to Main Street with free shuttles to ski resort. There was a covered parking garage. The room was smaller than I thought as was the kitchenette. The hot tub was out of order so that was disappointing.

Mattress in bedroom was shot-most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever encountered, even in a hostel; it was way too soft and saggy. We had to sleep on the Murohy bed to avoid back pain. The property had no record of my Expedia deposit and charged a different rate than you told me-I will contest that. Front desk was helpful in trying to resolve the issue but it is not yet resolved.

Location is great. Christy sports next door for rentals. shuttle picks up and drops off in front of the building. It is extremely convenient.

Great but lacked communication
Clean Lodge, respectful staff, awesome accommodations. Only problem I had was when we arrived, we were told our pull out Sofa bed was broken and they had no replacement. I would have been given a notice about the broken bed or an equal substitution for it but that wasn’t the case. We now didn’t have enough space for our friends to visit for one night.

I absolutely love this place, since we got there the front desk girls were super welcoming, I met other staff members and they are always polite and recommended places to eat, visit, shop, etc. Fresh coffee throughout the day, walkable skii access, the rooms were super comfy with gorgeous views of the town. It felt like I was in a Christmas movie.

The property maintenance was below average and the room was not cleaned. Floors, countertops and blinds were as well as furniture surfaces had not been cleaned. We were given a parking pass for one vehicle inside the property garage but there were not adequate spaces for all guests so we did not have a space for two nights. The appliances (dryer, washer and dishwasher) could be heard in our room from our neighbors as well as their conversation because the doors were hallow. The hot tub outside was not usable or the heated pool because they were bath water temperature but we were charged average resort fees…none of the amenities were accessible.

We stayed in a beautiful studio that had everything we could wish for. It was clean and new. The staff did everything in their power to make our stay a co due table one despite my son getting sick for most of our trip. I’m glad we stayed in such comfortable and friendly hotel.

I had stayed here many years ago and loved the location. I was suprised when I arrived they had upgraded me to a 2 bedroom condo which was awesome. They have covered parking which is great and an onsite restaurant. Right next to the free gondola and a block from Mainstreet.

Not a great stay this weekend, and continued to get worse. Room was dirty. Photos are very filtered - the resort does not look like the photos. I realized a charge on my card today and called to inquire, GM was unhelpful and rude. The card they charged for a “resort fee” was the card that I put down for incidentals, I used a separate card for the booking. Resort fee was charged on the incidental card, and was not discussed with us at all, pretty sketchy and pretty sure that’s illegal to charge a card without consent. Would not recommend.

We had a nice time at the River Mountain Lodge. Once we parked our car at the property garage, we were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go. It is in a great location. Short walks to shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the fireplace.

The property is very old and needs to be updated. The unit we rented was 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; the one bathroom with shower was on lower lever, with bedroom on upper level? Very poor layout! We will not stay there again, as there are much better places for the money in the area.
