Located in Breckenridge's premier Shock Hill neighborhood, this home offers rare access to the town's groomed Nordic trail system and close proximity to the gondola for effortless downhill skiing. Skip the lines and step outside to explore miles of scenic, lift-free terrain ideal for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and peaceful winter outings. While the Nordic trails and ski resort sit side by side, they are separate systems, giving you the best of both worlds: quiet, endurance-based recreation and fast access to the mountain. In warmer months, these same trails become a network for hiking and biking, making this a true year-round launch point for mountain adventure. Alpine Edge provides essentials for a weekend stay, including paper towels, dish soap, a new sponge, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, hotel-style toiletries, and extra rolls of toilet paper. Fresh pressed linens and towels are provided, including extra towels for the hot tub. 4WD/AWD/Traction Devices are highly recommended during the winter months. We recommend referring to the Colorado Department of Transportation Traction Laws before arriving in Summit County. We are located in a high alpine environment where variable conditions may exist. Tire traction devices are also highly recommended as heavy snowfall is expected from November to May. Please note that security cameras are placed by the outdoor patio area of this home. We have tried many ski in ski out locations over the years but as a family we believe that the gondala location is superier to even the best ski in ski out. We had a small group of 3 so we had plenty of room but think the house would be great for larger groups as well.The only negatives we had were that both fireplaces in the house were not functioning during our stay which was a bummer when its 10 degrees outside. My wife was sick during part of our stay and our skipped ski days would have been much better by a fireplace. The only other small items was the quality of the towels seemed a little low end to me......and no shampoo or conditioner is provided. Not a big deal but when you are paying 2k ish per day, you would think some of these features would be more high end. ##### Rick K.
