Walk out your front door to find the pristine Nordic trails of Peak 8, great for hiking in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter. This home offers a truly unforgettable mountain experience. This home is pet-friendly for a fee. If you are bringing a pet, please let us know. There is a $350 fee per pet, per stay. Proximity: Located on Peak 8, this home offers direct access to the town's Nordic trail system and is just 0.2 miles from a MyFreeRide bus stop, providing easy transportation to downtown Breckenridge and the ski resort. Skip the lines and step outside to explore miles of scenic, lift-free terrain ideal for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and peaceful winter outings. While the Nordic ski trails and ski resort sit side by side, they are separate systems offering the best of both worlds: quiet, endurance-based recreation and the excitement of high alpine skiing nearby. In warmer months, these same trails become a network for hiking & biking. Alpine Edge provides supplies for a typical weekend stay, including paper towels, salt/pepper, dish soap, a new sponge, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent for a few loads, hotel-style bottles of shampoo and soap, plus extra rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. Fresh pressed linens, including all bed sheets and towels, are also included. 4WD/AWD/Traction Devices are highly recommended during the winter months. We recommend referring to the Colorado Department of Transportation Traction Laws before arriving in Summit County. We are located in a high alpine environment where variable conditions may exist. Tire traction devices are also highly recommended as heavy snowfall is expected from November to May. This home has a private hot tub, so extra towels for the hot tub are included. It is very welcoming, and met the needs of our group- ages 60’s, 30’s and infants. It is very clean, and well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen is great for multiple cooks. The bedrooms are very comfy and quiet. The game room basement was fun. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The neighborhood trails are so convenient, and wild flowers and wildlife abound!
