We loved our stay in this large, family friendly log home about a 5 min drive from central Breck. The bedrooms are large and spread out for privacy, with comfy beds, plenty of towels, and very clean baths. The living areas are large enough to gather everyone together, but the separate downstairs game room and family room are great to allow for some smaller group separation (i.e. teens and adults). I was amazed to see the very well maintained appliances and TVs from the late 80s or 90s? The Gen Z'ers were like, "Why are the TVs so big?" Haha! but everything worked very well and the home was very clean and exceptionally maintained. Our only criticism was that the road/driveway are not plowed, so even with 4WD it's a slippery slog up and down. ##### Janet S. The issue we had was we had not one but two unannounced guests randomly stopping by the property. The 2nd night of our stay we were in the house and heard the garage door open. Keep in mind this is 915 at night! My husband went to the garage and asked if he could help the person and they claimed they were the owners son who was dropping off a vehicle. We double checked our emails and text messages to see if we had received a notification from the owner or the management company - nothing. We called the management company and they confirmed it was the owners son but we were very uncomfortable staying in the house knowing random people may show up. Two days later, we were sitting on the porch enjoying the view and another random car came driving up the driveway. It was the management company! He said their paperwork indicated no one was renting the house and someone was supposed to check in the next day. After a short conversation he was able to make sure the cleaning crew didn't show up. Again, the property was very nice. Absolutely beautiful view and location. The property needs a few updates but nothing major. We just didn't appreciate the fact that we rented the property for rest, relaxation and privacy and had random people showing up. ##### matthew p. We LOVED the location up from Breckenridge, excellent moderately difficult walk to and from town (altitude/hill) and there is a creek that runs part of the route, shallow and clear and good fun and a nice cool break for our little fur bee bee :) The home is beautiful, really interesting architecture (art in and of itself), extremely well appointed, very comfortable and ample furniture, very secluded due to blending in and complementing the natural setting, substantial forest, INCREDIBLE and mainly unobstructed breathtaking views of the mountains and peaks, very compatible with finding mindfulness, much needed respite.
