The house is beautiful and the views are unbeatable! I also appreciated how responsive the property managers were. I texted them our first full day with some pictures of some cookware in terrible shape and they arranged to drop off new pans and a new knife that day. We also contacted them later that night because the hot tub wasn't working and that was something we were really excited about. While unable to help that night, they texted first thing in the morning that someone would come to check it out. Luckily my husband figured out switching the breaker and that did the trick. You could tell, however, that this property was managed by a 3rd party and not someone who really loves and cares for the place. It was quite dusty (higher up places like door jambs, ceiling fans, etc) and the rugs are really in need of a cleaning. The paper goods like toilet paper and paper towels and tissues felt like sand paper. The carpets in general either need a deep clean or to be replaced. There are more nits but don't want it to overshadow that we very much enjoyed our stay. ##### Jamie S. It is spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. My family of five was very happy to gather in the comfortable living room and watch the large TV and enjoy the easy gas fireplace. The view from the great room is spectacular and we loved waking up to this every day! We stayed here on a ski vacation and the drive down to the lifts was about 12 minutes. You definitely need 4 wheel drive or chains like the listing says. The one complaint I have is that the master bed is very uncomfortable and the sheets are terrible. It was disappointing after a hard day skiing to dread getting into bed. If this had been better I would have given the listing five stars. ##### joan b. I feel bad for the owner who must have a huge water bill caused by a broken tub faucet from the previous renter. Wasting water unnecessarily did bother me and my family to the point where the stay did not feel 100% comfortable. . There was plenty of space for everyone and it provided everything we needed! The house is fully stocked with kitchen essentials (including blender, crock pot, mixer, etc.) so we were able to have most meals at home. We used the hot tub (towels for the hot tub were provided) which was very relaxing after skiing. The views were spectacular and it was nice for our family to be a little away from the Main Street scene and in a quieter area. We had an Expedition and were able to park it easily in the garage with another vehicle. I don’t know where we would have parked a third vehicle if we had one because the driveway shares with the neighbors and there was too much snow to block them in. Well equipped, clean, nice furnishings, and the views are incredible. Hot tub was awesome as was the fire pit out back. Easy to use and worked perfect. My only advice for people is to acclimate in Denver for a day or more before going to Breck if your staying here, It’s very high up and our whole group struggleded with the altitude (we also came straight from Florida - sea level).
