It very basic but that’s all I need for night before flying. The staff are friendly food is nice. I’ve been a couple of times. This time my room was literally like an oven, I wasn’t sure how to change the setting on the air/heating so just had to turn it off and open the windows, which wasn’t great as its near a motorway. The pillows this time weee really uncomfortable, like lots of ball of cotton instead of whole pillow. The TV remote run out of batteries, I didn’t bother to call reception as it was late any way. During check-in we had to wait 10 minutes until lady finished her call in the back office. Quite annoyed and she was not attentative and slow. 2.) bathroom was not cleaned and desifencted. Dirty toilette. We have more rooms there and most of us had similar feeling. My colleague said: “I do not feel that bathroom was cleaned after previous guest.” We stayed for 2 nights without cleanining of the room and change of the towels (during check in no information that cleaning is not provided daily was not privided). In general it is not bad hotel for short stay, but management should do better its supervision role over at least staff at reception and cleaning. To be honest: lady at the reception this morning was nice and polite, same at the bar. Breakfast and internet were ok. With no reasonably priced replacement flights we looked at the option of Bratislava and found flights in 2 days time. Jumped in a cab and booked the Vienna Easy Bratislava through hotels.com. Convenient location, clean, and the staff were amazing. Central heating system kicked in through the AC fans and made the room unbearably hot. Like a sauna. And you have no control over it. Had to open windows but you’re literally next to a motorway so the noise is very loud and non-stop! Reception offered to change out room but also said it would be the same in all other rooms. We could not sleep at all.
