It was a wonderful stay at Hotel no. 16\. Me and my boyfriend have stayed there for 3 nights, it's a very short walk from the old town and the Bratislava Castle. Everyone who likes a comfortable bed, polite and lovely staff and being close to all the main attractions should go for this hotel. It's one of the nicest ones I've personally have been in so far. Also, we had an accident and lost my engagement ring in the room. The door was locked when we arrived and when opened we weren't greeted in a welcoming manner. There is no minibar in the room (despite what the website says). We would not stay here again and considered just leaving and going to another hotel but we had paid for the stay in full before arrival (our mistake). The WiFi was terrible. The receptionist was very friendly, a native to Bratislava. He offered us a free map of the city with easy walking directions into Old Town. There is a beautiful secluded garden in the backyard with good wifi and a koi pond. The hotel room had very comfortable beds and a nice big bath tub with free shampoo, shower gel, cotton pads and q-tips. The decorating was very cute and cozy. The only reason I give the room comfort 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was no air-conditioning. We visited in late-July, so it was very warm. Even still it was a wonderful place to lay our heads after adventuring around Bratislava.
