« We had a great time staying, it was very convenient to everywhere we wanted to visit while in Cleveland. Super private with the Carriage House being at the back of the property. I was able to take my older Shih-tzu out for walks in the garden area and on the sidewalk without much traffic. Very clean, bigger bathrooms and overall a great historic place to stay. »

« Weekend getaway with my husband and son. The property was clean and well maintained. The outdoor space was amazing and the lake view was spectacular. We had a wonderful weekend and will definitely be back! The host was extremely kind and responsive. I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars!! »

« Exactly what we were looking for with easy access to Cleveland attractions. Enjoyed relaxing on the spacious deck. The views of Lake Erie and sunsets were awesome. The house was cozy and bed comfortable. The owner and management team were all friendly and great to us. »

« This is our second stay at Lydia's and it won't be our last. Everything is as described and more! The cottage is perfect for couples and we had our grand daughter stay a couple nights in the loft. The cool breeze off the lake countered any humidity in the forecast, a welcome relief from our Arizona heat. Lydia is so welcoming and responsive as a host. I'm already missing my time there as I sit on the plane waiting for take off. The surrounding area is amazing as well. Plenty of great eateries...

« Great place to stay for seeing the surrounding area or if you’re in town for some reason. I personally couldn’t get ahold of anyone to talk with during the stay, which put us on a time crunch that we could’ve avoided. Other than that issue the place was clean and tended to the needs we had at the same rate of a hotel but more room to ourselves and less hassle. I’d give a 5 star if I were able to easily communicate with someone involving any concerns or issues we have. »

« Nice house. Decorated nicely. It is an old place (thinking circa 1900), so going upstairs was a chore. The stairs are extremely narrow and steep. They did a nice job of making us feel welcome. The area is industrial, there were a lot of trains throughout the night. We did feel safe staying there. It is in a great location when it comes to exploring Cleveland. Very close to everything. All in all, we had a good stay. »

« We loved the property and all of it's historical architecture and antiques. It was such a peaceful home and our kids never touched an electronic device! The pond at night with the bull frogs and fish jumping was so peaceful and relaxing and was a great place to wind down each night and chat before heading to bed. We generally struggle to sleep when away from home, but this house was homey and comfortable we couldn't even make it through the first page of a book or a start of a movie before we...
