Great place for family vacation

This cabin facilitated our family vacation perfectly with all the bedrooms having their own bathroom and king size beds, etc. The drive to get to the place is typical of the Ozarks…steep hills. Out of all the cabins in this complex, we chose a great one, even though the parking area was a bit steep.

Okay stay

We had an amazing first trip to Branson. We enjoyed the cabin vibes of the home, but it definitely needs some updating. We notice some things were “fixed” very cheaply, and the VRBO website needs to be updated, looks like the pool are changed and it listed a fitness center but didn’t seem like it was there anymore. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for the 12 of us. Lots of big hills in this area so plan accordingly, but we didn’t realize there were so many hills in the area in general so I think this might be fairly common.

Excellent Mini-Vacation!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our family. We really appreciated having a private bathroom for each bedroom. Bedrooms were spacious and the whole lodge very clean and fresh. Kids loved the bunk beds upstairs. Was a little worried about the roads going in based on previous reviews, but considering this is Ozark hill country, I found it was no problem. Some work had obviously been done to repair the road. I highly recommend this as an easy place to stay with great access to Silver Dollar City and an easy drive to the main strip in Branson.

Road to property was horrible.

Thankfully, we didn't have any ice or snow during our stay in December 24'. If so, getting in or out would have been impossible. The road to the house was horrible. Huge holes, very steep grade going to and from the house. The house was good, the location of the house was not good. I would not stay in this location again due to road conditions. There was a very strange odor in the upstairs bedroom. Someone was aware as it was the only room with two air fresheners on the night stands.

Moose Bay stay

The property itself was good. Upon arrival, the toilet was full of excrement & used towels were in 2 bathrooms. We contacted the owner & he had new towels delivered & said he would refund the cleaning deposit. The upstairs bedroom on the left has a terrible odor near and on the bunk beds. We thought it was the plugin air freshener but upon removal, the smell remained. It is extremely potent & is likely from a dog/animal. We could not use the bunkbeds as it was so strong. Overall, the place was good, but the first impression with the bathroom & terrible odor in the bedroom did damper our experience. Location is great & amenities were sufficient.

Property Unavailable due to Unforseen Circumstances

Our Host, Mark was very responsive. Unfortunately, upon arrival, there were some unforeseen circumstances with the property that we could not stay at the house. Our group was able to book two condos nearby fortunately. Not ideal, but it worked. The house was very nice, however the steep terrain of the roads and parking lot were not desireable. Mark was wonderful through this situation and I thank him!

We had a good time but needs some TLC

The location was very convenient and so close to SDC. The house was clean but the beds were in bad shape. 2 of the beds we had to repair because they were broken. The bathroom shower door we had to fix because it wouldn’t close all the way. There were wasps everywhere on the back screened in area. We had to buy Raid and a staple gun to fix the screen so more wouldn’t come in.There were no paper towels and hand towels. Lastly, there is a least 1 large animal living in the attic because you can hear it all through the night.

Great for large families

Lots of room for everyone to spread out! Very clean! Couple of suggestions- big non stick skillet, non metal cooking utensils and a better coffee pot. Very nice place to stay over all though!

Best Location for SDC and Table Rock Lake

This cabin gave us everything we needed. A close location to SDC and Table Rock Lake, as well as 4 bedrooms and bathrooms. Mark was quick to answer our questions and help us with our requests.

Great place for family vacation on the lake!

The location is great! We like that it is so close to the Indian Point Marina, which is a great place to rent a boat and other fun things. It is also very close to Silver Dollar City and Branson. The road down to the lodge and in front of it is very steep, but we didn’t have any problems. Having four bedrooms and four baths was perfect for us. Last year we stayed in a similar lodge, but this one worked better for us. It had more chairs for eating, bunk beds instead of a pull out couch, and the back deck was screened in. It was very clean. The only real drawbacks were that the actual living room is pretty small and you have to drive to get to the pool. It is some distance away and up a steep hill. There was an issue with one AC unit, but someone came right out to address it.

Awesome

The property was amazing views, the house was great and big and kitchen had supplies to use for cooking. Easy access to the parks and downtown. The bed were on the firm side. Lots of towels. The neighbors were friendly. Taking trash out is quite a walk. The drive down to the cabin was steep.

Great floorplan for large family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lake house. Every bedroom had a bathroom, plenty of amenities, very close to Silver Dollar City, plus close to the lake. Had an excellent & fun breakfast at the marina as well. We will be going back to this property again. The host was very helpful as well. Thank you for a great property.

Family gathering

Perfect property for our family - we have grown, married children and grandchildren and this offered privacy (each bedroom had adjoining bathroom) as well as plenty of room for us to gather to eat and play games. The close vicinity to Silver Dollar City was great. Will hopefully stay here again!

Best Getaway!

The house is absolutely wonderful! A fireplace that flips on with a switch. A big, relaxing porch overlooking woods. Meaningful signs and decorations throughout the house. We went in December and we’re delighted to find a wreath on the door, a lighted and decorated Christmas tree inside and lights going up the steps and 2nd floor railing. Absolutely beautiful and rustic in the best possible way! The rooms are spacious as well as each bathroom. It’s located just a few miles from silver dollar city. It was the best, coziest weekend and wonderful getaway!
