Walk to the Riverfront where you will enjoy dining, shopping and some amazing waterfront views. Just minutes to AMI beaches, shops, and endless fun. Walkable to local museums, Planetarium, IMG and other local favorites. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood this suite makes for an enjoyable, peaceful stay. The Seahorse Cottage is located on a large lot 2 blocks from downtown Bradenton, royal palm tree lined streets and front yard views of the Manatee River. Birds sing with calm coastal breezes. Off street parking, and large deck with several seating areas. Close to world renowned beaches. Mini-split system provides AC and heat which you control. Bikes are on site and available for use during your stay. There is also the Gulf Island Ferry within walking distance from the property, which runs daily to Anna Maria Island (you must purchase tickets). The property was cute and perfect size for us. There was an issue with the door lock and first night we were locked out for about an hour and a half…. Mostly because I had done something wrong but it took a long time and the help of a nice couple of young people who helped us reach Randy and eventually we got in. We had no experience with those key pads but there should have been a bright light near it so we could see! The cottage must have had water damage during the hurricane because the place smelled musty and I was worried about mold because of my allergies. However, the refrigerator is newer and large.Great for 2 people but I can't really see it fitting 4 unless the other 2 were small children.Confusing checkout time - Vrbo and some info in the unit said 11am. I walked to the water & then around the block to see such interesting charming Florida homes! The cottage is spacious with the most amazing square shower head! Thick, luxurious towels, too! So clean & tidy! We appreciated all the menus and brochures for restaurants and things to do. Nobody is more friendly than Randy! His easy outgoing personality added so much to our vacation stay.
