New dock is great but...it needs a few more feet to meet the dredged channel for those houses. Even 5 ft would make a dufference. Low tide left my 23' center console solidly on bottom severly limiting ability to use freely. Street is narrow deadend with NO room to turn truck and trailer. Messaged multiple times with managment about room for trailer, boat and they knew size of boat, assured would accomodate. Trailered from NC, was dissappointed. I made it work, but no way this would accomodate any bigger. Lots of other choices in the area with much less boat hassle. There is a narrow channel to ICW, but took me a while to figure it out. Unfortunately kitchen had no food or storage items for safety reasons per the company. Otherwise it was gorgeous! The company who runs it was excellent with communication and checked in on our needs to make sure we were comfortable. Less then 3 min walk to the beach for play and sunset, and sunrises over your back deck. All the beach supplies you need, even umbrellas for our baby! Walking distance to many restaurants and cafes. The home we stayed in was perfect. Beds were comfortable and the home was clean. My family and I came from AZ for a wedding so we did not get to spend much time at the beach but the time we did spend was wonderful. The beach was within a 5 min walk of the home and water right outside the back of the home with the most amazing views. The management crew for the home responded quickly to any questions or concerns. The area was not overly busy. Only suggestion I might have is making sure there is enough toilet paper when a family is going to stay for several days. I would definitely return again. ##### Donette M.
