Nearest Grocery (15-20 min): Food Lion, South Hill Nearest Essentials Store: Dollar General (5 min) Nearest Gas Station: Sunoco (8 min) Nearest Marina: Holly Grove (5 min by boat); (10 min by car) A few more tid-bits... :) 1\. Trained service animals are welcome! Otherwise, we have a strict "no pets" policy. We can help arrange lodging for your pets (as long as they are up to date on shot records which must be provided) at a local boarding facility during your stay, if you'd like; just give us a call...way in advance, as they fill up fast! 2\. The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system. This system is a finely balanced biological system. Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper. Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse. 3\. Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves. Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the dock with rental boats.(make sure to bring your bumpers!). 4\. Culverts & Bridges: Be sure to lower your Bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts. Appearances can be deceiving! 5\. Security Camera Disclosure: We take your privacy very seriously.
