It overlooks the first hole of the Monument Golf Course and is a short walk a path that leads to the Alpine chairlift. It is a 5-bedroom, 4.5 bath home that can accommodate up to 18 guests. Every square inch of this home is flawlessly styled, and it feels like you’re on the set of an HGTV show from the second you walk through the front door. As you move into the great room, you’re warmly welcomed into the living area of the home with an abundance of sunlight from all the windows and the high ceiling. There’s plenty of seating around the gas fireplace and HD television on the sectional and side chair. The substantial, eat-in kitchen has a large peninsula with seating for four and is open to the dining area with seating for eight more. This fully-equipped kitchen has granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, including a French-door refrigerator, 5-burner gas range, dishwasher, and microwave. A sliding glass door off the dining area opens up to the screened-in-porch with tons of seating. In the backyard, there is a gas grill and a fire pit, plus a private hot tub. This outdoor area will be the perfect hangout spot this summer. Around the corner from the kitchen is a hallway with a laundry room to the right and a half bath to the left. There is also a main floor master bedroom overlooking the golf course with a king bed, walk-in closet, and an ensuite bath. The bathroom has a stand-alone tub, separate walk-in shower, private latrine, and double sinks. As you make your way upstairs, you will find a loft seating area separating two bedrooms with their own private bathrooms. In the loft, there is a sofa sleeper with a full-sized bed. From the stairs, the bedroom to the left has a queen-over-queen bunk bed, and its bathroom includes a walk-in shower and single sink. The other bedroom has a stand-alone king bed and its bathroom has a combination tub and shower and single sink. In the lower level, there is a large entryway from the garage, large laundry room, full bathroom, and two bedrooms. The two bedrooms both have a queen-over-queen bunkbed. The Area: Boyne Mountain is a golfer and skier's paradise offering the top-rated skiing and snowboarding and golf courses in the Midwest. Boyne also has one of the largest water parks in the Midwest, tennis courts, Deer Lake/Beach, and several dining options. Golf, skiing and snowboarding lessons are available at the resort. We highly recommend purchasing lift tickets, ski rentals and booking tee times for golf in advance. For details regarding resort amenities, please contact the resort directly for pricing on their day passes and lift tickets. Deer Lake is a public lake for you to enjoy, and 7 miles away is Lake Charlevoix in Boyne City. Looking for a Day Trip? Visit Mackinac Island or Sleeping Bear Dunes. We absolutely loved our stay, the home overall, cleanliness, quick response by property managers on issues and location. Located right off the Alpine ski hill and chair lift. Within 5-10 minute drive of Boyne Lodge. House had everything we needed and more. Only negative and why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 Is because the basement level/garage level had no conditioned air— return or supply air. This level is where two of the main double bed bunk bed rooms were located, where we were supposed to put our 5 and 6 year old children. The property managers supplemented that with free standing space heaters which they thought resolved the issues. It was 50 degrees down there at night and we did not feel comfortable leaving space heaters on all night for safety issues and keeping our young kids down there sleeping. Main master bedrooms were upstairs. For a home advertised and used for winter snow and ski vacations, all rooms and levels should be supplied with adequate conditioned air, especially in a home of this quality and caliber….Great home and trip overall… ##### Jennifer D. The 2 bedrooms in the basement next to the garage were very cold. If we turned up the heat to try to warm the basement it was unbearably hot in the living room and loft. If we used the fireplace at all, the thermostat being near the fireplace in the living room would turn off the furnace, making the basement rooms and one of the upstairs bedrooms even colder. My husband and our two young children stayed for several nights and enjoyed the home! Great location, very close to Boyne Mountain resort. Comfortable, clean accommodations. Kitchen was well stocked. A beautiful comfortable and well equipped home that had everything the six of us needed to enjoy our week. The beds were phenomenal! The backyard, fire pit hot tub and grill were excellent. Very stylish and cozy furnishings. Our party of 18 had plenty of room to spread out. Perfect ski in/out location to give max flexibility to a large group (and boot dryers in garage!) We made dinner every night in the well-appointed kitchen...lots of room for people to help chop or linger over a glass of wine. Hot tub and fire pit were great. Highly recommend!
