This beautiful 4 bedroom private home has been recently redecorated and it is located in the gated community at Boyne Mountain. Incredibly spacious, there is an abundance of gathering space and seating areas for your entire group. The home is literally STEPS away from the Alpine chairlift. Simply imagine your family and friends as you sit in the living room, watching the snow fall and the chairlift pass by! As an added convenience, this home is about 200 yards away from the top of the mountain where the Alpine and the Disciples 8 chairlift all empty; Such easy access on and off of Boyne Mountain will make this property a favorite for you and your group, and one that you will want to build traditions in. This highly customized home has custom ski storage, gas burning outdoor fire-pit, surround sound throughout the home, bumper pool table, PLUS two large living rooms, allowing everyone in the group to make themselves right at home. For special note, a brand new hot tub has been installed February 2021 and we look forward to guests enjoying this favorite amenity! Speaking of feeling at home, enjoy the spacious kitchen with seating at the dining room table for 10 PLUS 6 bar stools surrounding the oversized island. There is also a 3 season room just off of the dining area with additional seating and amazing views tucked in the beautiful wooded area that surrounds the home. The main level living area has abundant seating, a vaulted ceiling, gas fireplace, and a flat screen TV. For added convenience, there is a powder room located off the main living area. The master bedroom hosts a king bed, en suite bathroom with double sinks and granite countertops. And for added luxury and touch, enjoy your private gas fireplace and flat screen TV, in this beautiful master bedroom! When you head upstairs where you will find 2 additional bedrooms; featuring a king bedroom, 2 Queen beds in the other bedroom and a shared full bathroom with double sinks and granite countertops. This is a bonus feature as it gives plenty of space for adults to have some quiet time, while the kids enjoy their own private area downstairs! Located on the lower level, "The Bunk Room" features eight custom built bunk beds that can sleep young children and young adults! Beautiful and the decor, tile, hardware, furniture was cozy. Would love to know where you purchased the decor from. The bunk beds were long and comfy. If I may make a few suggestions. Have a full size mirror behind door in bunk room and the downstairs bath with the two separate showers was great only wish there was a niche to put your items on. Outside big spider web near BBQ by outlet, wish it was taken care of before our arrival. The host was very nice and responded quickly. This was a gorgeous house on the top of a hill with a lot of space :) Everything was clean and the neighbors were friendly too! The porch is perfect for a cup of coffee and enjoying the sunrise. The only issue we had was the hot tub kept breaking and we were never able to fully use it which stinks because you pay for amenities like that. They tried to fix the hot tub but it was a temporary fix and it seems like the hot tub had been having issues prior and they were trying hard to trouble shoot it. Some things are not in the control of the owners and that’s why I still give this place 5 stars because they put forth the effort to make this an amazing experience and it was. We had a great time staying at the Alpine house for my husbands birthday. It was the perfect size for our group. The location is awesome! I love that the chair lift is right outside of the house. My only suggestion is to have a four wheel drive because a few of our guests got stuck on the hill on the way up and needed a tow. If I have any critiques, it would be for the homeowner to supply better bedding/pillows/mattress. The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable, so bring your own pillows. Also, there was a big cleaning fee with this rental, yet there was a random sock and dental pick under our bed when we arrived. Other than that, everything was perfect. This house is a really great layout and size- could be very chic with some cosmetic updates! We would definitely rent again. ##### Allie P. Other reviews reveal that this is a great place normally, and that is likely true. However, our limited vacation time was marred with increasing problems with the property. We were told of the hot tub being closed only during our drive up to start our vacation. We specifically searched VRBO for places with hot tubs, so that was a poor start. After being told it would be fixed in a day, we had to ask for updates constantly on the repair. No one ever came to repair it during our entire stay. We also found the coffee maker in the same broken condition as the review from Harold A. in August of 2019\. Is it difficult to replace a $30 drip coffee maker in a year? The firepit control mounting is broken, making it nearly impossible to use the gas firepit. We also found a used band-aid and cigar on the screened-in porch during this pandemic. There were other maintenance items which were less important, but uncovering new problems each day on vacation is not what you expect at these premium prices. While the manager was responsive, the issues remained. As long as you are not looking for a hot tub, fire pit, or coffee on your northern Michigan escape, this will be the place for you. We were refunded about 1% of our rental cost by NME, but I feel this is not enough compensation given the issues we experienced and vacation time we cannot repeat. ##### Lane R.
