Everything was clean, and they thoughtfully provided all the essentials like shampoo, conditioner, coffee, and a coffee maker, as well as plenty of towels. The beds were comfortable, and the entire place was well-maintained. Communication with the host was effortless, and we encountered no issues during our stay. The location near Boyne Mountain was ideal for us. It allowed us to enjoy everything the area has to offer without being confined to staying directly at the resort. The location is perfect. We fly fished in the Boyne river, visited the Boyne City Morel festival, Drove up to Mackinaw City, crossed the bridge to St. Ignace to our favorite pastie place. We also went to Vanderbilt to go to the Pigeon River for more fishing and to visit my great grandfather's grave. After each adventure the house was great to come back to! The home has beautiful updates and is immaculate! It is very quiet and peaceful.The king size bed is very firm, I have a bad back so I had to use the queen bed and I slept like a log! Great host in more ways than one. To begin, the rental was exactly as advertised. It was impeccably clean and a breeze to check in and check out of. We had a short stay for a wedding so we did not spend a lot of time there but everything went smoothly with the exception that my daughter-in-law left her dress in the bathroom and their cleaning crew did not happen to see it.
