Boyne Mountain Log Home

This 4,000 sq. ft., beautiful log home sleeps 22 people. The bedrooms are very large with most walk-in, large closets. It has all of the amenities of a year-round home, from lightning speed cable TV, Wi-Fi internet, desktop computer in family room, Roku Premiere in all bedrooms, to more than 100 various DVD's, books, board games for adults and children, etc. This home has it all. Each bathroom is equipped with anything that you may have forgotten to pack.

It is a great place to stay for a relaxing weekend, week or month. It has a very private wooded lot, with appealing natural light inside. There are plenty of activities to enjoy year-round. It is just a short walk to a ski-in, ski-out area. Spring, summer and fall there is an asphalt bike path bordering the backyard with an abundance of highly-respectable golf courses nearby.

Sitting on the back deck and grilling is one of the many relaxing ways to enjoy yourself for your get-away stay.

This rental home is CDC guideline compliant, including cleaning and disinfecting. Extra cleaning and disinfectant products are available for renter use.
Please note on occasional amenities may not be available.

Reserved guests information:
Guests with reservations agree that the property shall not be used for any illegal or unlawful purposes. Occupancy and use of the property and common areas, that disturbs, offends or disrespects neighbors shall be grounds for termination of reservation immediately. Shooting off any form of fireworks is prohibited.

As long as the rental home is habitable and the owner makes any repairs within a reasonable period of time, any interruption of services/utilities inconvenience, or discomfort arising from repairs, shall not affect the vacation rental agreement or result in any abatement of rent.

Guests with reservations shall allow owner/owner's agents reasonable access to inspect/make repairs; including fire department inspectors, police, or local health authorities to the extent of the law.

Everything was perfect. The cabin is conveniently located near the ski resort. The cabin was very spacious. It was a bit cold in the lower floor at night and we had trouble with one of the heaters. We would love to stay there again!

Great host! Great communication and very accommodating. House is in an excellent location. About a 15 minute drive from the main attractions in Boyne resort, but an excellent location for skiers and snowboarders. Feels like you are driving down a long windy road forever to get to the house, but we discovered right there at the end of our road only 100 feet or so was one of the ski lifts. Easy to walk to it from the house and enjoy the mountain right away, all while avoiding the congested parking lots at the front. Thermostat in basement was a little hard to get used to, but directions on it were pretty clear. House could use a little TLC, but overall pretty great. Would definitely rent again.

Excellent home! We had 13 people stay comfortably and still had 2 extra rooms. House is spacious and equipped with all things needed, big and small. We never ran out of silverware, dishes, towels, etc, everything was stocked well. Every bathroom had a nice basket with things you may have forgotten, razor, lotion, shampoo. Will definitely book again. Hghly recommend!

The house is spacious and beautiful, comfortably hosting our large group of 20 people—well-stocked with kitchen utensils, towels, and blankets, especially during the chilly Thanksgiving weekend. There were a few issues with the cooking range and fireplace, but the owner was responsive and provided helpful guidance to resolve them quickly. We would love to return in the spring or fall.

From the time that I booked the property, the manager was excellent at communicating. The area is nice and feels safe. The house was very clean. The outdoor area needed some cleaning up in the back and there were some minor issues in the kitchen, which I let the owner know about and she quickly replied. I’m confident in working with her that she was truly unaware. Boyne area is a lot of fun. My siblings and our kids loved being in the big house all together. The kids had their own space downstairs to hang out. Everyone of all ages had a blast!

Location location location

Booked the stay with my two sons thier girls and 10 of thier best friends for a ski weekend. Access to Boyne was easy. Staying in the wooded snow covered back side of the mountian was perfection. The house had everything that this large group could ask for. enough and having the snow was great

Perfect for a family gather

We needed a large accommodation for an our extended family holiday. All meals but one were to be made by members of the family. The kitchen was well appointed and equipped. It does need a bit of organization, as things get mixed up during rentals. The bedrooms were comfortable and afforded privacy when one needed a break from socializing. The cabin does need a thorough cleaning. We would like to commend our hostess who did a terrific job of answering all our questions.

Family Xmas gift long weekend in Boyne, ski, waterpark etc.

Carol the host was kind and very quick responding to questions etc. The house is big and the beds were comfy but overall it needs to be cleaned out and upgraded! Not sure why there’s a need for three dining room tables and a church bench in the living gathering area? A big comfy sectional with a few end tables would have been cozier and more comfortable! Grill not really appealing so we cooked burgers brats etc inside! It was nice to be able to park a car in the garage but again it was in desperate need of being cleaned out as it could have resulted in a safety issue! Lastly I’m not sure you could really tag this home as a ski in/ ski out option, kind of a very hilly up and down steep road to walk on to the kitz cabin area where you could catch a trail to ski on that we didn’t use at all! We as a family created some great memories and had Fun being together this weekend, but for what it cost and what we got I would not rent again! Sorry just being honest as I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO’s!

Perfect space for our family of 17.

Great property. Spacious for our family of 10 adults and 7 children 7-13 yo. Kitchen was huge and well equiped. Living room was large enough for all the adults and kids could move in at out at the same time with ease. Lower rec room allowed separation if kids wanted that.We look forward to returning next year.

Ski weekend

Ski weekend planned but no snow so the Kitz Cabin benefit didn’t work out. Drive to and from the base of the mountain is a long one. House with seven bedrooms a nice benefit. House was clean with plenty of towels.
