This house was very comfportable in a quiet neighborhood near the river. Lake Charlevoix a few blocks away, a bike path that one way takes you into Boyne Mountain and another way into Young State Park and Avalanche Preserve with wonderful views and hiking paths were great October fun. I chose this home due to the great reviews, quaint style, and location. It did not disappoint! The fireplace and lights where on upon our arrival which was a wonderful way to be greeted since it was a cold dark evening when we arrived. The home was decorated in such a charming way that it made it easy to feel comfortable there:) It was very clean. The beds were firm, yet surprisingly comfortable. Plenty of towels and face clothes were left out for us. It was a perfect stay and the hosts were readily available and responsive when/if needed.
