Both a front porch and a back deck equipped with a fire table and seating provide places to unwind. A screened-in back porch offers lounge chairs and outdoor dining opportunities. Grilling enthusiasts will appreciate the option of two Weber grills, one propane and the other charcoal-fired, catering to your culinary preferences. For nature lovers, the property showcases views of the lake, mature trees, and an open grassy expanse, complete with a firepit for evening get-togethers. The view of lake is amazing, the canoe,kayaks and paddle boards were total fun, and the fishing was just great! It was clean, cozy and comfortable and the homemade cinammon rolls waiting for us for breakfast our first morning were delicious. The owners were accommodating and accessible. There are plenty of kayaks, canoe and vests to use from the private pier. The lake has a lot of fish and we enjoyed fishing in the calm waters. The hosts are great, communicated on time and provided additional complementary things. The cottage was very clean and loaded with staples, but also with delicious coffee and tea for the guests. We were able to go fishing everyday, along with paddle boarding, and a night time campfire each night. The house was clean and perfect for our 4 person family. The cottage was spacious, especially with the two indoor living areas. It is very clean with a well-stocked kitchen, blankets and towels everywhere, and wood for the firepit. Although cold outside, we grabbed blankets and coats and sat by the water and on the screened in deck several times a day. The beautiful sunrises and views, and the STARS at night (wow), made for a perfect stay. Add us to the fan club for the cinnamon rolls - the jar of frosting was over the top delicious. The house is decorated with great attention to details and good taste. It was super clean. The view from the living room and the screened porch is beautiful. There are entertaining toys for all ages. Our toddler played with some, while adults liked 3-D puzzles. We would definitely love to come back. The communication with the owners was excellent. The kitchen was fully furnished with everything we needed. Was an open floor plan which we loved. The bathrooms were even stocked with soaps and shampoo! You could tell the owners were extremely organized. The kids had so much fun at the lake. There were plenty of kayaks, canoe and a splash pad. They loved to jump off the dock on the splash pad (which was tied to the dock so they didn't float away). Also the screened porch overlooking the lake was awesome. We use VRBO alot and this was definitely one of the best places we have stayed. We saw and heard all kinds of nature, from turtles and frogs to deer and osprey. If you're looking for a peaceful place to unwind, this is it! We rarely saw neighbors or other people on the lake near us, which made for calm, relaxing waters. There were plenty of watercraft and lifejackets for us to use. The house was well stocked with all equipment we needed for cooking meals. Having two fridges was an added bonus for all of our drinks and snacks! We greatly appreciated Andrea's cinnamon rolls and clear, prompt communications. It was so nice being able to bring our dog on vacation; Andrea even included water and food bowls for our pup. We loved our time at the Sunrise Cottage and hope to repeat it again with warmer weather - it was a little cold the first weekend of Feb to enjoy the screened in porch for morning sunrise coffee but easy to see how wonderful a spot that would be for it. We did get to have a fire by the waterside one evening and were cozy inside with everything we needed and the space is super clean and true to pics with every detail provided. The most well-appointed rental I’ve ever stayed at! And the host-provided quiche was an amazing bonus — fed the three of us for both mornings of the weekend we were there and it was hearty and delicious! Lastly, the hosts went above and beyond to return some binoculars we left behind and I’m really grateful for their kind effort with that. Hope we can come back and canoe in warmer weather next time but for a winter visit it was just lovely! Thank you! ##### John T.
