We made new friends with some of the animals and enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor living area. There was a heat advisory the entire time we were there, so I didn't hike out to explore the cave or creek, but the cabin's AC was wonderful! This place is tucked back away from the road but it's not far from town.David and Yamil are wonderful hosts! Yamil showed me around the farm and we enjoyed some wonderful conversation! We absolutely love this place! It had places for my grandson to get out and explore while my husband and I enjoyed feeding and petting the animals on the farm. The little cabin was clean and well stocked with everything you could need and our hosts were absolutely wonderful. It was nice to just disconnect from everything for a couple of days, we definitely give this place a 10 out of 10\. It’s a great place if you have small children, or even teenagers who love animals, they have a donkey, turkeys, goats, cows and chickens just make sure to take apples because donkey loves apples! We came for our 21st wedding anniversary and we had an amazing time. The cabin is fully stocked with anything you will need. It was clean and very welcoming. The porch was perfect for drinking coffee and listening to the chickens do their thing (one of my favorite parts). The owners were very welcoming and nice. They are right across the way and there if you need them and leave you alone if you don't. The creek was great also. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the sounds of the farm or if you have kids. Bowling Green is close enough that if you want to shop or go out to eat, it's not a long drive. We went to the Lost River Cave and that was so much fun. No complaints at all.
