River Soca which is according to many the most beautiful mountain riverin Europe, is running at few steps from the house. Although the location is very private and intimate, the nearest shop, bus station, tourist centre, musem and caffe bar are just 200 m away. Living room with space for dining, a new modern bright kitchen and the bathroom are arranged over the ground floor. The upper floor accomodates two bedrooms, of which one has three separate beds and a balcony, and the other bedroom contains a queen size bed plus a child bed (120 x 80 cm). From the Soca source to the large gorge and small gorge (Velika korita and Mala korita) are some typical for this valley houses with tile roofs, with external stairs and so very typical wooden corridors on the facade in which often the firewood is stacked picturesque. The central part of the valley is called Na Logu. Here you will find the information center of the Triglav National Park with a tourist and mountain guide service, the Trenta Museum and the refuge Dom Trenta. Called remotely, back of the Trenta valley, Zadnja Trenta, located in Kar Zapotok a 180 m high overhanging rock wall with the highest waterfall in the Triglav National Park. The most famous gorge formed the Soca Soca near the village, where the 750-meter-long Great Gorge cuts 15 meters deep in some of which only up to 2 m wide gorge. Die Lage ist einmalig – mitten in der Natur, umgeben von Bergen und Wäldern. Wir haben tolle Wanderungen direkt von der Haustür aus unternehmen können und gleichzeitig am Privatstrand der Soča wunderbar entspannen können. Das Rauschen des Flusses ist einfach magisch und trägt enorm zur Erholung bei.Das Haus ist gemütlich, die Ausstattung einfach, aber funktional – genau richtig für diesen besonderen Ort. Gut zu wissen: Der Weg vom Parkplatz ist etwas länger als gedacht (ca. 3 Minuten), sehr steil und steinig. Für uns war es aber absolut machbar und Teil des Abenteuers.Besonders gefallen hat uns die Kombination aus aktiven Tagen in den Bergen und ruhigen Stunden am Wasser. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus absolut empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder! ##### Andreas K. Jedoch muss man bedenken, dass man seine Sachen beschwerlich zum Haus tragen muss.Am Haus selbst wurde scheinbar in den letzten Jahren einiges neu gemacht. Die Küche ist gut, die Außenanlagen auch. Jedoch haben wir uns insgesamt in dem Haus nicht wohlgefühlt. Es ist halt ein altes rustikales Haus. Zudem ist es recht muffig. Preis-Leistung stimmt für unser Empfinden nicht. ##### Daniel L. Das Ferienhaus befindet sich in einzigartiger Lage, schon das Erreichen des Hauses ist ein Erlebnis. Man sollte allerdings wissen, dass dieses Ferienhaus nicht für jeden geeignet ist, da der Weg zum Haus und die Treppe zu den Schlafzimmern sehr steil sind. Alle die sich davon nicht abschrecken lassen, werden mit einem wunderschönen Garten und dem Rauschen der Soca belohnt. Trotz der Abgeschiedenheit ist man in wenigen Gehminuten in Trenta (mit Supermarkt, Info-Center, Pizzeria und Bushaltestelle). Nachts kann es zumindest im Mai noch recht frisch werden, ein paar mehr warme Decken wären gut gewesen. Warme Kleidung und gutes Schuhwerk sind aufgrund der Höhenlage auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Die Küche ist überraschend groß und modern, für den Sommer existiert eine Außenküche und Grillstelle. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. ##### Jochen S. Das Haus ist für einen Wanderurlaub zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Für Kinder stehen eine Schaukel und diverse Sportspiele zur Verfügung. Der Weg vom Parkplatz zum Ferienhaus hin ist tatsächlich etwas steil, aber bei uns auch gut mit Koffern zu bewältigen. Das Ferienhaus war sehr sauber und es war alles vorhanden was man für eine Woche, die man hier wahrscheinlich die meiste Zeit in der Natur verbringt, braucht. Highlight sind die Außenanlagen und auch das EG mit gemütlichem WZ und gut sortierten Küche. Guter Handyempfang kompensiert das fehlende WLAN. Insgesamt wirklich zu empfehlen! ##### Volker H. Yes, the bedrooms are a bit basic as mentioned in other reviews but everything else was perfect. Trenta and the Soca valley are spectacular and beautiful and from the cottage it is easy to just potter around the river or scale the 2000m peaks around you (OK,.. It wasn't that easy! ). Communication with Mrs Navenko who looks after the cottage (and runs the village shop) was occassionally challenging but always friendly...and the local cheese she will sell you is well worth trying. The cottage is “under construction”: bedrooms are not finished yet, f.i. just hardboard floor with now and then a nail popping a bit up. Kitchen (with only two cooking plates and no oven a bit difficult to cook a meal) and outside area are excellent. Should the cottage be finished in that level you will never want to leave! ##### Babette d. Séjour de 7 nuits en juillet 2019 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Jasper S. 30 juin 2019 #### Beautiful location, property could do with some attention The Soca valley is utterly beautiful and this little cottage is perfectly located, close to the facilities of Trenta but you could be in another world, tucked away in the trees by the river. The property is comfortable but for the money we paid I would expect much better quality. No kettle? Broken toilet seat? No welcoming information. Too much old furniture crammed in any old how. The owners clearly do not have much concern for the comfort of their guests, which is a pity as this could be a gem of a place to stay. Wie beschrieben abgelegen und ruhig schön nahe der Soca. Einzig der zugang über den doch etwas steilen Abstieg ist gerade bei der An- und Abreise ein wenig beschwerlich. Ich würde empfehlen lieber ein Gepäckstück mehr aber dafür kleiner zu packen dann läuft es sich besser. Die Landschaft ist wunderschön zum Wandern erkunden und Rad Motorrad fahren. Es ist überall sauber. Die Menschen sind freundlich und hilfsbereit und im kleinen Markt an der Srasse gibt es alles für den Tagesbedarf.
