Gravel Hill Farm House - Nationally Registered

Huge, charming and significantly historic home. The house features a large wrap around porch and classic barn that sits right across the street. Enjoy fishing, hunting, grilling, bonfires, games, and creating many memories you will cherish for a life time. You will not regret your getaway at Gravel Hill! This is a two-story, Greek Revival structure built between 1857 and 1859, that was placed on the National Register of Historic Places May 1976. During the Civil War, it was one of the only historical homes that was not burned. It was spared because it was temporarily used as a hospital during the Civil War for passing troops. The interior is most memorable due to the quality of the detailed work and unaltered conditions. The home is one of very few structures remaining in the area from the Antebellum era. Although it is well kept and clean, you may notice minimal natural weathering due to the fact that it has been passed down for generations and was built in the 1800’s. Welcome to the Guidobono Family Farm!
Air-conditioned accommodations at this vacation home offer fireplaces and DVD players. Rooms open to patios. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and separate dining areas.

Bathrooms include shower/tub combinations and hair dryers. Televisions come with video-game consoles. Additionally, rooms include coffee/tea makers and irons/ironing boards.

5/5 Excellent

More than just a family gathering
This trip was very special to our family. Francesca did everything possible to ensure that was the case. The charming home is museum-like in nature, possessing many period pieces. It also has a special touch if you are traveling with children such as the theme rooms of pirates or sophisticated little girl. The location is quaint, and all of the expected amenities are right at your fingertips.
