The Space: Enjoy the ocean views and ocean breezes from your living room or private lanai. This vacation condo offers 2 BEDROOMS and 2 BATHROOMS with plenty of space to spread out. The KING master bedroom is dressed in island finery with private bathroom, walk in shower, and flat screen TV makes for the perfect retreat after a long day on the water. The GUEST bedroom offers a two TWIN (single) size beds and an attached guest bathroom that opens up to the hallway. You can "cook your catch" in the fully equipped KITCHEN with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.The living room offers a queen sofa sleeper, flat screen TV and step-out balcony. A washer/dryer is available in this condo; along with free wifi. Guest Access: Entire space plus building amenities are included in this rental. Please, make yourself at home. A variety of activities, including fishing, diving and sailing are available only a short distance from the Ocean Pointe. Tavernier is a great choice for travelers interested in kayaking, scenery, fishing, diving, sunsets and an all around wonderfully relaxing time. The Neighborhood: Ocean Pointe Suites, nestled on 60 exclusive acres in South Key Largo, is gated and manned 24/7\. This ocean side condo is only 10 miles from John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and 1.7 miles from the Wild Bird Sanctuary. The Florida Keys is home to some of the best fishing, snorkeling and diving in the world. Key Largo's proximity to the everglades also makes it a premier destination for kayakers and ecotourists. The drive to Key West is approximately 2 hours south and is remarkable! The Florida Keys offer a fantastic variety restaurants, but with the bounty of fresh seafood available its not surprising that the cuisine of the keys is largely built around the catch of the day. Getting Around: A car is needed in the Florida Keys. Ocean Pointe is roughly 70 miles south of Miami International Airport and approximately a 2 hour drive to the Southern Most Point in Key West. Other Things to Note: Please note: Kids are welcome! We have tried to furnish and stock our condo with safety in mind. However, our condo is not 100% childproof. We require that small children be supervised by an adult at all times while on the property. Pets and Smoking Are PROHIBITED MARINA INFORMATION: Advance reservations are required for all marina and trailer reservations. All marina and trailer reservations are handled by a separate entity, First Service Residential. You must contact First Service Residential to reserve. Reservations cannot be made upon arrival – all reservations must be made in advance. The marina will accept boats up to 28 feet. Ocean Pointe Suites Marina slip rentals are reserved on a first come, first serve basis. All boats are required to carry insurance ($300,000.00 Liability and $100,000.00 property damage) as mandated by Ocean Pointe at Key Largo Condominium Association. Proof of insurance is required upon making reservations. Boats not carrying the minimum required coverage will not be allowed onto property. \*\*All jet powered watercraft (i.e. jet skis, jet boats, etc.) are strictly prohibited. And we never went to the on site beach. The pool was very hot, but the heat index didn’t really allow for anything else. Maybe if they had flowing water through it, it may have been cooler. Nice clean space and grounds. Balcony was too small and the view from the balcony was only trees. Couldn’t see the water. Overall, a nice place to spend a week. ##### Andrea V. Easily accommodated our family of 5 with a comfortable queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Best part of stay was easy and fast communication with owner. Great location in the Florida Keys that was close enough to all nearby attractions on land or sea! We walked to the private beach and fished off the rocks! Seen a bunch of sharks, rays and a few tarpon. Only downfall was the TV was a little glitchy when watching the PGA tour. Other than that, comfy beds and warm water for every shower! I’d stay there again! ##### Kristopher M. The deck was very small and a minimal view of the ocean and you truly are in the mangroves. The property manager was great and stays in contact. ##### Jane N.
