The Bunkhouse
Nestled at the base of Powder River Pass, TenSleep is the place to explore, fish, hunt, climb, hike, snowmachine, ski, ride and play! Meadowlark ski area is 20 miles up the canyon, on the far side of Meadowlark lake. The canyon is wild and majestic, the mountains immense. TenSleep is known for its outdoor adventures and impressive climbing opportunities! Come and join in the fun!
The Bunkhouse is fully self contained, with a covered front porch overlooking horse pastures and the ranch.
One King bedroom, with a fold out Queen bed couch and Full size futon in the living room. There is a full bath, laundry room with washer and dryer. Linens are stocked.
Full kitchen and dinette area.
Kitchen is fully stocked with all cooking utensils and equipment as well as glass and dishware
Smart television - Dish network - wireless internet are all included.
Heating and Air Conditioning - Electric fireplace as well.
Drive right up to the Bunkhouse - room for trailers of all sizes to navigate, park, turn around.
Dog friendly with owner approval.
Horse corrals and pasture available with owner approval and small additional fee

Lovely place to stay

The bunkhouse has a wonderful front porch where you can watch the sunset, horses, and views of the surrounding hills. Kitchen is fully stocked and everything was very comfortable. Hosts were great about responding to messages and always available if you have questions. Really enjoyed staying here!

Amazing stay

Everything went smooth from check in to check out. The best part of the stay was sitting on the covered deck and watching the colt playing in the pasture by the rental. It was so peaceful and relaxing.

Great location, easy to find, all you'd need for a short or extended stay

We spent two nights, enjoyed the small shops, local beer and food downtown as well as neighboring towns. Beautiful area with much to offer the outdoor enthusiast!

Relaxing getawsy

The Bunkhouse had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning and night watching the deer, antelope, birds. The locals are very friendly and the atmosphere very relaxing. A great location near so many beautiful sites.

Beautiful location, quiet and comfy.

We stayed to go hunting and enjoy some family time. Everything was great with the bunkhouse and location. Communication was slow and the VRBO app was unreliable. Calling or texting the host worked best.

Peaceful

The Bunkhouse was so peaceful, comfortable, and clean. It felt like home. Nan and Clay are great hosts. I had complete privacy but they were there whenever I needed something or had a question. The Bunkhouse is in the perfect central location to get to so many adventures in the Big Horn mountains. Downtown Ten Sleep has the best restaurants and brewery and everyone is so friendly. As a single traveler I felt right at home and safe my entire stay. I can’t wait to come back!

Amazing View/clean and cozy bunkhouse

Came to Ten Sleep to bird hunt with two bird dogs. Always looking for a spot to make it easy with dogs but this place was more than we could ask for. Gorgeous setting with amazing views. Bunkhouse was super clean and had everything we needed. Quick response from owner. Bed was super comfy. Just a heads up TV had all the “smart” options like Netflix, Apple TV, etc but we don’t have any accounts and basic TV didn’t seem to be available

Quiet and serene

I loved this location! Just five minutes out of Ten Sleep. Quiet and relaxing just sitting on the porch and enjoying the view. The hosts are the best thing about this property. Lots of advice and it was great advice. Will be back!! Just felt like home. Sitting on that front porch was amazing. Horses in Coral and dog super friendly. And wild animals on the hills with snow covered mountains in the distance. Wow

Peaceful respite

All the comforts of home, great views, friendly horses,. We stayed here after a long backpacking trip to rest and clean up. Convenient, close to town, with well equipped laundry and kitchen facilities. Highly recommended.

Skiing was not applicable. we were hunting on this trip. We did have problems with the main TV as it would not work into the system. They need to have CBS Sports to carry the Wyoming Football games!

Cute Little Farm Stay

Nice place to stay. Is a small bunkhouse on the farm property. Horses were right outside the window of the bunkhouse, which the kids loved. Owners pretty much stayed to themselves so there was privacy. We rented a UTV which was great so we could just leave the property and explore the town and mountains. Plenty of bedding and blankets. They had DVD's, books, and games which was nice after a full day of exploring. Would definitely recommend! Beautiful views! Only a few minutes from town.

We had a great stay at the Bunkhouse! Clay and his wife are down to earth people and willing to assist with your needs! The cabin is very clean and has all essential of home!! Myself and two sons will definitely stay there again!!

We loved staying in the bunkhouse. We had everything we needed to cook several meals at the house but also close to town when we wanted to eat out. Nan was a great host!

Great stay. Fabulous vacation

We stayed for a week and enjoyed every part of the stay. Super comfortable Bunkhouse. It was so quiet and the views were amazing. Deer in the corral, the Big Horns in the distance. We thoroughly enjoyed just soaking it all in from the porch. Nan was so quick to respond to our questions and emails. Will definitely stay again. Nice place!
