Enjoy Beach Time, Fishing, Kayaking. Steps Away Beach “N” Bay Getaway is directly situated across from Mobile Bay (St. Andrew's Bay) and has a magnificent view from the north side of the house, including both the main and upper decks. The view of the Gulf of Mexico sparkles so brilliantly from the back (south) deck, and with the brilliant white sand, your sunshades will always be in order. We call it Beach “N” Bay Getaway because it really is the best of both worlds. It’s centered right between Mobile Bay and the Beach on the Gulf side. If you have family or people in your group that love the beach as well as fishing and kayaking it’s really the perfect spot. Both are within about 500 ft. from our newly painted decks both with great views of both bodies of water. Picture yourself sitting on the back deck soaking up the sun, while hearing the sound of the pounding surf, drinking in the smell of the warm salt air, and hearing the call of the laughing sea gulls circling above, with a lone Pelican slowly lumbering past.... You don't want to sit in the sun? Well, there is a lovely concreted area underneath the house with a picnic table, a large swing, and room to relax out of the sun but still hearing the surf, seeing the beach, smelling the salt air and feeling the constant Gulf southerly breeze blowing against your face. Our two (2) story, 1500 sq. ft., three (3) bedroom, two and a half (2.5) baths, full size washer/dryer, with a fully equipped kitchen---is all you need for your beach get away. Conveniently situated just 125 yards from the actual beach (beach side, with deeded beach access) and the stunning Mobile Bay on the other---with small boat access at the natural boat launch...and a birding site to boot! Wow! Beach “N” Bay not only offers wonderful views, but also with updated accommodations at an affordable price! What else do you need? Totally updated and remodeled in 2021 inside and out it’s basically a brand new house with granite counter tops, luxury vinyl plank flooring, updated bathroom fixtures, new mattresses, and a well equipped kitchen; it is not only comfortable, but is just plain cute with a pleasing beach and water themed decor. It is all you need for your party of 9 guests or less to have a great time at the beach, or just a two minute walk directly behind you to fish or throw a couple of Kayak's in the water for the day. It's the best of both worlds for your relaxing getaway. My brother , mother and I drove down from Minnesota and rang in the new year seaside!.. it was a great adventure with great weather . We enjoyed how the home is surrounded by nature in all directions. On the bay side we saw dolphins swimming, and tiny little crabs and even did little fishing . On the gulp side, we also did a little fishing and many treasures were collected from the sea. We saw jellyfish and birds and lots and lots of shells. It is quiet and peaceful and the house is absolutely perfect.. very cute and accommodating. Nice towels and even plenty of spices which is nice cause sometimes rentals can be quite sparse. My only note is that the knives were a little dull but everything else was literally perfect. We can not wait to come and stay again . The WiFi was not good. 7-8 Mbps downstairs and didn't work upstairs at all. Even after turning the router off and on. 2\. Had to buy a black shower curtain to block the sun coming into the master and from the back door and waking us up at 5 AM. 3\. The bathroom light in the master is blinding, especially when you get up in the middle of the night to us it. Nice views from both sides of the cottage, and despite some cooler than expected temperatures...the location of the property blocked much of the wind, so sitting on the gulfside deck in the afternoon was great! There are beautiful decks on both the bay and the gulf sides. It was very windy while we were there, so we enjoyed just staying at the house. It's very comfortable except the upstairs bedrooms were a little hot. The owner has provided ceiling fans and standing fans. I definitely recommend! ##### Kathy C. The house was very clean and up to date! Well stocked kitchen. The owners were very quick to respond with any questions! This house is not beach front, but a very short walk to the beach. Beautiful view of the bay from the front porch! Perfect little get away that we needed! We got to end our stay with an awesome air show from the blue angels.
