TO SEE: Villa Hawk is nestled in the mountainous village of Gerakari, in the Rethymno regional unit of Crete, situated below Mount Kedros and approximately 35 km south of Rethymno city. Within a short 200–300 meter walk, guests will find two local tavernas, a supermarket, and an ATM machine, offering convenient access to daily necessities. For a wider selection of shops, cafés, bakeries, bars, and banks, the nearby Spili Village is only a 15-minute drive away. Gerakari’s elevated location provides easy access to both the north and south coasts, with beaches ranging from 29–40 km away. On the south coast, guests can explore the stunning beaches of Preveli, Damnoni, Amoudi, Skinaria, and Plakias, while the northern beaches of the Rethymno municipality are also within reach. The surrounding countryside features charming settlements such as Helenes, Kardaki, Vrises, Meronas, and Amari, each offering a glimpse into authentic Cretan life.

#### Magnifique Villa nichée à la campagne.

Nous avons passé 11 jours dans cette magnifique villa complétement équipée et fonctionnelle. Nos hôtes (Stella et Vassilli) ont été avenants envers nous et la communication était très facile en cas de besoin. La villa est propre, fraichement rénovée avec soin, bien équipée et climatisée et la piscine est d'une taille convenable pour 4 personnes. Une voiture est indispensable pour profiter de tous les superbes paysages et plages qu'offrent la Crète (Rethymnon est à 30-40mn de route). Un grand merci également à Valia qui nous a assisté dans la location de voiture (à un prix imbattable) et également à Lambrini pour sa gentillesse. Si l'occasion se représente, nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir dans cette villa tellement nous nous y sommes sentis bien. Merci pour tout et bonne continuation. Fouad et sa famille.

#### Just the perfect place

We had a wonderful time here. Everything was perfect. The house, the pool and the whole interior design was just perfect. If we had any questions the whole team was always available. The cleaning service was much better than in a hotel. Thanks a lot for everything Lamprini!!
