The property will always be cleaned and disinfected before your arrival. There will also be cleaning products there for your convenience. We use pillow protectors on our pillows. Pillow protectors, sheets, pillowcases, blankets and bedspreads are all white for guests and bleached and washed in hot water for each visit. Complimentary Water and coffee. Also, initial paper towels, toilet paper, soap, detergent and more are there for you at the villa at check in. Free WIFI. We have never had a problem with the WIFI. We work from there at times and have not had an issue with internet. It is a small Island, surrounded by water, so if you use multi devices it may possibly be an issue to your service. Get ready for a relaxing peaceful vacation. If you like outdoor space, this is it! Watch the fish jump from the LARGE wrap around screened in deck. Better yet, grab your fishing rod! Use of the boat ramp located at marina is included. There is room under the Villa to store a small boat and park your car. Also located on the property is an area to clean your boat and fish. There is also a ramp on property to launch a canoe or kayak. Located next to the Villa's is the local grocery store and Pizza restaurant. The Villa has updated wood look flooring throughout the main living area. The bedroom has a King bed and new carpet installed in 2025, sliding doors for easy access out to the deck. Both bedroom and living room have a flat screen TV with cable. The living room TV is a smart TV. You can log into your account to watch Netflix, Prime and other available choices. Some games and books are also kept there for your use. Washer/dryer located in the storage room down below. The outdoor screened patio has a high top with two bar stools, two chairs with ottomans to sit and relax and 2 gravity chairs. It's a great place to relax with a book, cocktail or sip your morning coffee. There is also a door off the kitchen leading out to the screened patio. It has cathedral ceilings, BBQ, table with chairs to enjoy your outdoor meals. Picture do not always reflect updates to decor. Some nearby attractions include Air boat tours, fishing charters, boat and kayak tours. Smallwood store museum, located in Chokoloskee. Enjoy the beauty of the Everglades and 10,000 Islands! Enjoy fresh Stone crabs at your local restaurants and seafood stores. Stone crab season is usually Mid-October-Mid May. There are several local restaurants and a Tiki bar next to the Flying Pelican restaurant. You can also explore with trips to Goodland, Marco Island and Naples. Self-check in for convenience. Kim's condo and this community were a rare find--right on the water, away from the noise of the main street, and far enough away from the wastewater treatment plant not to hear that noise either. We couldn't think of a better location. We loved being able to launch our kayaks just steps from our door, with lots of options on where to go from there. We loved having the screened lanai so that biting flies didn't drive us indoors in the evenings. The owners have invested in making the rental attractive and as connected as is possible. It does not have consistent internet access or consistent cell phone reception because it is in a special location - the Everglades. The screened in porch was lovely to sit, read, work and just look at the wildlife all around. The water across from us was just as added bonus! The pool area is just perfect for sitting out, sunbathing and for swimming. There was high speed internet that we both used every day working from home, without any issues at all. The villa and grounds are very well maintained and it’s a lovely, quiet complex. The neighbors were wonderful—welcoming and very pleasant. You can basically walk or ride bikes to everything on the island, which is something we really loved about it. Kim was in regular contact from the time of booking thru our whole stay and provided lots of really useful information and tips while we were there, and also new to the Everglades area. We were particularly touched when she often reached out to make sure we had everything we needed. They also left us many essentials in the house. Exceptional! It was a real home away from home. Kim and Bob have thought of everything. We felt very pampered! Thank you for a wonderful stay, and we cannot wait to be back. :) ##### denise z. It's well appointed, and the host has anticipated your needs. She's great and very responsive. You'll be in close proximity to most everything you'd want to do in Everglades City and the surrounding area. You can be at the Fakahatchee Boardwalk in 10 minutes. Same for Big Cyprus and Chokoloskee Island. This is right on the water in a quiet community, so take advantage of enjoying the mornings or evenings waterside. ##### Jacob E.
