Our townhouse at Creekside Villa’s was designed for your comfort and relaxation, boasting a gas fireplace, well equipped kitchen, spacious dining and living area, Entry level: a huge mud room with secure racks and shelves for all your ski equipment and clothing, a huge kids activity room with extra sleeper sofas. level 2: Includes a living room (with gas fireplace) dining room, kitchen, bathroom and small bedroom (no closet) with a Twin over Twin bunk bed for small children. The relaxing top floor has three bedrooms including the master with King size bed and private bathroom with jetted garden tub. There are TVs in each bedroom. For a nice musical outing, travel 26 miles to the Marlinton Opera House or drive 18 miles to the Green Bank National Radio Astronomy Observatory for tours and educational events. If you have little ones traveling along, they'll love the Snowshoe Adventure Center, while the golfers of the group will be excited to practice their swing at the Snowshoe Golf Course, just 3 miles away! With so much to see and do in the Snowshoe area, you're sure to make lasting memories while staying at out townhouse. In the mild and beautiful West Virginia summers, fly fishing, hiking, world-class mountain biking courses, golf, bird watching, horseback riding, 4x4 off-roading adventures, and more are easily accessible by car or by walking right out the front door. Access to Shaver's Lake (including a beach, water toys, hammocks, playground, kayaks, and swimming) is available for purchase through Snowshoe resort. Fall foliage abounds in autumn, and the plentiful hiking trails on Snowshoe mountain provide an easy way to enjoy the colorful views. In both seasons, Snowshoe hosts a myriad of events for the whole family to enjoy, from Wanderlust to music festivals to the very popular Blues Brews and BBQ party. Our favorite spot for equipment rentals is one shuttle stop away (Snow Creek Mountain Sports in the big red barn); if you're looking to demo specialty skis or snowboards, it's worth the trek to the Top of the World (about 10 min by shuttle) to visit the team at Elk River. This location is one shuttle stop away from our townhouse, is out our go-to spot, with live music, a whiskey bar and yard games upstairs, and huge wraparound decks on both levels. Our favorite dishes are chicken rice bowl, tacos and beef nachos. Kids' camps and activities are available on the year round by booking through snowshoe. Depending on the season, ski, snowboarding, and mountain biking lessons for all ages (group or private) are available with fantastic instructors. We had 3 great days! The property had everything we needed and then some. It was well set up and spacious with everything we needed. We visited Cass for the Christmas train rides and wanted to spend the evening together instead of heading home. The holiday decorations in the unit, the well appointed kitchen/bedroom, and the comfortable living room made for a great spot to eat carry out pizza, watch a few seasonal movies and enjoy the company. Janet was very responsive and made sure we could get in as soon as was feasible. This townhouse was very cozy and spacious for our extended family. The kitchen was well stocked as we cooked everyday. The bedrooms were comfortable. The garage was great to store shoes, ski/snowboard accessories and coolers. There is also a washer/dryer. The shuttle pickup is very close to the townhouse, just a short walk across the driveway. The shuttle service was running with some delay due to the covid situation but it was still a great convenience to take you to Silver Creek and Snowshoe. Really good quality beds, great views of the fall foliage nearby and the home itself had everything you could need. Loved the very prompt and helpful responses from the owner. Easy walk to slopes and tubing. Garage area was perfect (and well equipped) for hanging coats and taking off shoes so the main living area wasn’t crowded with these items. Kitchen was well stocked with different utensils and items - great for cooking! The kitchen did only have cutlery for 8, so bring some plastic cutlery. Mattresses were very comfy. The kids LOVED the game table in the basement room (and so did the adults because it meant we could converse upstairs). Janet was great to work with. Would highly recommend. ##### Hannah F. My husband and I enjoyed a fun extended weekend get away to Snowshoe with some other couples. This cute condo is VERY close to the shuttle stop and the garage had plenty of room for us all to drop/put on our ski stuff all together. The beds were very comfortable and the condo was very clean! We were a party of 8 which consisted of 2 grandparents, 3 additional adults, 2 children which are 5 or under, and one 12 year old. The weather was cold with temperatures ranging from 0 to 40 with two snowstorms during our stay. Excellent property. 4 Bedroom 3 bathroom townhome. 3 bedrooms upstairs and1 with bunkbeds downstairs. 2 bathrooms upstairs (1 of those in the master bedroom) and 1 downstairs. The townhome was clean. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The heating works great and the townhome insulation was fantastic. It got down to 0 degrees during our stay and the townhome was very warm with no drafts. There were 2 snowstorms during our stay and they plowed the parking lot each time. We walked to Silver creek (to go to the tubing hill) through the snow with two small children in 10 minutes. The bus/shuttle stop is literally right in front of the townhome. The shuttle is free, runs every 10 minutes or so, and will take you to multiple stops throughout Snowshoe including the Village and Top of the World. We had a wonderful time. This townhouse is perfect for a family vacation. It's well maintained and furnished. The owners were very friendly and helpful during our stay.
