We really appreciated the host leaving out brochures to the many different things to do and see in the area. The host were very nice and helped us when we got lost when arriving. The house can be tricky to find and you definitely need a car when visiting the area. Nonetheless we had everything we needed in the house and we enjoyed our time there. We were there 5 days, and enjoyed our stay there a lot. It's a bit far from the sights and from a grocery store (minimum 30 min. drive, IIRC) so plan for that. Also, no wi-fi that we were able to figure out (we just watched stuff we had already downloaded, using an HDMI cable), but there was a television and laundry facilities, so that was great. ##### Brittni H. There is no WiFi so you won’t even be tempted by work. My husband and I used this house as a home base for nearly two weeks while we explored the country side and different cities. It was a nice place to come home to at night to have dinner and watch tv. The house has extra adapters if you bought the wrong one like we did. The town is small, but the people are great. Your only neighbors are cows so no worries about bothering or being bothered by other people. Truly an authentic country experience. ##### Megan K. Séjour de 6 nuits en août 2022 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Martina H. 9 août 2022 Points forts : Propreté #### Haus für Ruhesuchende Das Haus liegt 1,9 km zu Ballylanders und 400 m zum nächsten Nachbarn am Ende eines Schotterweges. Es war einmal eine kleine Farm, das Farmhaus wurde hergerichtet und die ehemaligen Wirtschaftsgebäude und Ställe sind verwaist. Im Haus gibt es eine Küche ( mit ausreichend Geschirr und Geräten), ein kleines Bad mit Dusche und WC, ein Esszimmer mit einem großen Tisch und zwei Sofas, 2 kleine Schlafzimmer mit je einem Doppelbett (140 /160 breit) und ein großes Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und einem Einzelbett. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut und bei Problemen wurde sofort Hilfe angeboten. Vor dem Haus kann man parken . Die Fotos werden dem Haus leider nicht gerecht, so fehlen Bilder von den kleinen Schlafzimmern und die Anderen sind nicht aussagekräftig. Wer die Ruhe liebt ist hier absolut richtig, hier ist es sehr einsam. Man kommt mit dem Auto aber schnell zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und in der Nachbarortschaft Michelstown gibt es sehr viele Supermärkte, wo man alles bekommt, was man benötigt. Eine Sitzgelegenheit im Freien wäre nett, denn es regnet ja nicht immer. ##### Martina H.
