With no near neighbours the peace & quiet is yours to enjoy, the perfect place to feel your stress and worries just melt away, there are even a few hammocks to help out with this. There is nothing more peaceful than the sound of birdsong gently floating on the breeze, interrupted by nothing. We had an hours-long tour with Kathy, the caretaker, who lives in a cottage at the back of the property. There was so much to explore! The kids loved the pool. We played tennis. We walked, and walked, and walked. Quirky, and fun! Kathy and the team go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. A couple of nights here and I honestly feel renewed. Sophie is just wonderful, the most warm, thoughtful, welcoming host. Never intrusive and so lovely to have around for beautiful garden walks and chats. Absolutely everything you could want or need is provided. Our 5 year old daughter loved it too. Everyone says it but we will definitely return here and highly recommend this property as the perfect base for exploring the region. Ideal for families, fur babies included.
