You can enjoy an array shops, restaurants and pubs within a short walking distance. The property offers a cosy lounge with wood burning stove, and a dining area with seating for up to six. There's also a fully-equipped kitchen with additional seating for up to four. Arkle House has two bedrooms – a master bedroom with king-size bed and sofa, and a twin room with en-suite – this is perfect for small families or couples holidaying together. There is also a main bathroom with bath and shower. In the summer, you'll love relaxing in the spacious garden with patio furniture. We’re happy to welcome dogs at our property. We just ask that they aren’t left alone inside. If you’d like to leave your dog safely crated while you’re out, we can arrange this with a refundable deposit, returned in full as long as everything is left in good condition. You'll find a washer, dryer and storage space in the utility room with access to the back garden. The property also offers a gated driveway and use of the garage if needed for a small car. There is off-street parking directly outside of the cottage. The hosts had tastefully decorated it for Christmas and had left us a very nice welcome basket.It is a very clean, warm property and a lot of thought has gone into equipping it for a comfortable stay.The rear garden is dog-secure and we were happy for Teddy to be let out into it.It is about a steady 30 minute walk to Amble harbour. A welcoming basket of food and drink was a really nice gesture. We enjoyed some really nice meals at Lal Khazani in Shilbottle, the Horseshoes in Remington, the Masons Arms Warkworth and Rossini in Amble all of which we would readily eat at again. All in all a really nice stay made so enjoyable by the home from home standard of the accommodation and certainly a place to return to if holidaying in that part of the country again. ##### George M.
