The Cottonwood Cabin is our most private and secluded accommodation being the furthest away from the main lodge. All cabins feature a rich variety of decorations from the owners' private collection of world artifacts. The Cottonwood's interior finishing & decoration is themed: "Interior African". Kindly note that there is no direct vehicle access to the cabin - we will always be there to assist you with your luggage to your cabin when you check-in and check-out. The walking distance from the cabin to the common parking area is app. 200 meters.Centrally located in the BC Kootenays and only 20 km from Nelson, our boutique mountain lodge offers four very private and luxury cabins set on 42 acres of private forest land to enjoy all mother nature has to offer - and do so in great comfort.

Each cabin comes with its own unique lay-out, design and furnishings, blending the truly rustic - think: large timbers, hardwood flooring, antiques, a woodstove - with the truly luxurious.

Apart from 800 square feet of living space, 2 bedrooms comfortably sleeping up to 5 persons and a fully equipped kitchen, you also get to enjoy a large soaker bath, top quality bedding, soft robes, catering or massage services delivered at your cabin and a rich decoration of world artifacts.

This reservation has a Firm cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 60 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 60 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 30 to 59 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 30 days prior to check-in.
Smoking is permitted on your private outside veranda only (ashtray provided). Failure to comply will result in a CA$250 extra charge.

Your cabin comes with a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals. In addition we offer catering services incl. breakfast, lunch and dinner, all delivered straight to your cabin. Please notify us for our menu and availability. The lodge also offers in-cabin massage services as well. The in-cabin massage services can be requested directly through us.

We maintain a few snowshoe trails on our property and adjacent crown land, all directly accessible from your cabin. Snowshoes are available for daily rental.
