It was how we imagined - as the building is quite old and full of history ! It was clean and had a shower - no towels, but we had our own. AS the building is probably nearly 100 years old it is s quite out dated, but a good experience. Even had the old baskset type lift to go up stairs ! Makes a change from modern. Gives a taste of what life used to be like 60 years or so. Not expecting much as was a cheap nights stay. Was clean. One of the curtains was hanging off, windows too high to fix myself. Beds ok. Pillows soft. There was a fridge in the room and kettle. Paper cups for drinks. There was parking out the front. Close to beach a lot of steps or ramp to beach. Harvester at the beach. My daughter was woken up by bed bugs in the night but didn’t tell me until the morning. Left a message at reception as no staff around in the morning. Also we were only given one towel for a double room and had to ask for more toilet paper as we were only given half a role.
