We were looking for a cozy comfy cabin in the redwoods and this was perfect! The woodstove kept us nice and warm, and everything about the home worked well- from the well appointed kitchen to the lovely soaking tub super comfy beds. Plenty of firewood, great entertainment options ( movies music huge screen!) And access to cute mountain towns and glorious hikes! Even on a rainy couple of nights, the cabin fireplace was so cozy and comfortable and close to great nature hiking at Castle Rock and Big Basin parks. What a fantastic little gem in the Santa Cruz Mountains could not have asked for a better place as a short little getaway. The attention to detail and everything you could possibly need was right there for us with the possibility to escape to great restaurants nearby. Loved the set up of the house in the ferry. This year we had to bring our dog so we found The Redwood House. It is so charming and spacious for the 5 of us. Although it is tucked away, getting there was easy. There was a glitch from vrbo in the description but the hosts worked diligently to fix it with prompt responses and great communication. We loved the soaking bathtub and the amazing views of the trees all around. We greatly appreciated that we could bring our dog. We were only there two nights but it would be very comfortable for a longer stay. The hosts seem to have put a lot of thoughtfulness into making this a wonderful place to enjoy. ##### Heather B.
