Our room was fantastic and no ghosts! We loved the historical nature of this hotel. Breakfast was great and the accessibility to shops, restaurants, and other activities was a plus! Would definitely recommend!
The room was small clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was the smallest i have ever seen. When sitting on the toilet you are hugging the pedestal sink with your legs under the sink.
This hotel had a glamorous past. Our room was more of a small apartment with a full kitchen (no pots or plates though due to Covid). Decor a bit dated but I liked it. Other rooms on our floor touted “decor by” so perhaps they’ll redo the room we had at some point. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Historic hotel with museum on site. Good coffee available. Comfortable bed in smallish sized rooms. Restaurant was closed due to change of vendor. Central location in pleasant walkable town.
If you're looking for quaint, this is the place. Quiet, restful. Nice bar downstairs; reasonable prices. Have to cancel one night due to emergency. Hotel couldn't refund due to third party reservation.
This is a great alternative to staying in Las Vegas.
The Boulder Dam Hotel is located in a cool walkable area with art and many restaurant choices. Staff members were welcoming and pleasant. The lobby is charming and the mezzanine has a cool museum. The furniture in the room is antique and charming. The WiFi was excellent and the television seemed to have plenty of channels. The mattress was quite comfortable and seemed to be memory foam.
The only downsides were the extremely noisy bathroom fan and the discolored bottom of the tub. We live in a 100 year old house with a 100 year old tub that we have refinished twice, so I understand the challenges there. The tub was clean, so I did not mind.
Central location but lacks amenities like a fridge, complimentary breakfast and daily housecleaning. Had to ask for fresh towels. Is a beautiful historic hotel, but would not return for another visit.
The Boulder Dam Hotel is rad. It's a little 90 year old establishment with a nice character. The have real keys for the rooms! There is a museum explaining the history and the area. Lots of eateries within easy walking distance. It's a cool place to spend the night quietly. The staff were very nice and helpful. I will definitely stay there again.
The Boulder Dam Hotel is perfect! If you're looking for a quaint, historical and cozy place to spend the night, this is the place. The hotel lobby is very warm and cozy. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are a throw back in time and very fun. Cleveland's, The Lounge is located on site and was the perfect place for night cap. Very reminiscent of the old time speak easy.
We will definitely stay again. Only a few minutes from the Hoover Dam and a short drive to Las Vegas.
Room was smaller than most newer hotels, but very quaint. Bathroom extremely small but they did make the most of the space with a shelf above the sink and toiletries rack on the wall.
This was our fourth stay at Boulder Dam Hotel. As always, check-in was easy, the staff was fantastic, rooms were clean and there is plenty to do and see nearby.
A historic hotel, so a character hotel. Unfortunately restaurant was closed, but lots of local options a short stroll away. Best find was the Don Quixote, marvellous Spanish restaurant, don’t miss it. Visited dam of course, tour was good. Boulder City worth a visit but likely v busy with visitors in high season.
This property was lovely inside. Upper level keva was not working and apparently had not worked for quite a while via the front desk.
Outer entrance from parking lot was dingy and dark.
My boyfriend and I loved our stay, we ended up staying on the hotels 90th birthday. They had live music, and food for us couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend my own birthday. Definitely will be returning !
Quaint 1930's era hotel. Seemed clean and well maintained. Room and bathroom were smaller than a modern hotel. There was no breakfast service contrary to Travelocity information. The hotel eating area is undergoing renovation and will not be available until later this year.

We were unable to get a larger room due to no availability, but it wasn't a huge issue as we weren't hanging out in the room much. We had a queen bed -- quite comfortable, and although it is a small room it is quite adequate. Downside was the restaurant was closed - again! But no indication on website. It had go reviews and we were looking forward to strolling down for breakfast. Additionally, although there are not refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms, it would be nice if there was at least ONE microwave in the coffee lounge as I twice dumped food at a restaurant as there was no way to re-heat it.
I booked a room to surprise my husband for our anniversary. Every time we go to Boulder City, we always say we should stay there. The hotel is so quaint and full of charm. The rooms are nice & clean and the beds are super comfortable. So much so, that we looked for the tag on the bed so we could maybe order one in the future.
We also had a great time at Cleveland's that evening. The espresso & tiramisu martinis are to die for!
I really wish we had a chance to spend more than one night! Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a quaint little town that has so much to offer. The hotel itself had a nice little museum about the history of the Hoover Dam. There was also a fireplace in the lobby that made it nice and cozy. We ordered dinner and ate in our room. After dinner, we walked to a cute little candy store. The next day we walked to the Southwest Diner for breakfast, it was excellent! It was a convenient drive to the Hoover Dam.

Hotel is a little dated but it's a good deal compared to the strip. I could hear women laughing outside at 2am, that was kind of annoying but I was there on a weekend so it's expected.
