Sep 29, 2024 Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy #### Non recommandé House in private residence, with pool in Malendure - Bouillante Nous sommes arrivés vendredi le 13 septembre 2024 vers les 15:00 Après avoir trouvé l’emplacement avec difficultés nous avons constaté qu’il fallait avoir une bonne forme physique car du stationnement a l’hébergement il y a une bonne pente négative. Rendu a l’hébergement nous avons constaté que la climatisation de la chambre au 2ieme étage ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avons contacté l’hôte pour trouver une solution mais elle nous dit qu’En Guadeloupe le service est tres lent et que le technicien passera seulement lundi, donc il était insensé pour nous de demeurer a cette emplacement pour 3 jours a 40 degrés Celsius. Concernant le WIFI il ne fonctionnait pas et de surplus l'hôte n’avait pas le mot de passe. Nous avons visité la piscine et constaté qu’il y avait des travaux donc pas accessible ensuite nous nous sommes dirigés vers la plage mais la descente est très abrupte et était endommagée par les pluies, L’hôte aurait dû mentionner que son site n’est pas pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Suite à tout ces problèmes nous avons voulu annuler mais elle a refusé et n’a pas voulu aussi nous rembourser le dépôt de 44eur, Donc en conclusion on s’est fait arnaquer. Le seul petit bémol est que les salles d'eau ont besoin d'un petit rafraichissement. Son emplacement géographique est parfait, proche de la route de la traversée et du bon coté pour découvrir des plages magnifiques et de nombreuses visites, randonnées ou autres activités. Maison très bien située à proximité de la plage de Malendure et de la réserve Cousteau (un petit chemin dans les bois vous permets d’y accéder en 5min). Le logement dispose de tout le nécessaire ainsi qu’une terrasse extérieur avec table et transats. C'est le plus de la location. Maison bien adaptée pour 2 couples , 2 chambres avec une sdb chacune. Elle est bien située à 1/2h, 3/4 d'heure environ de plusieurs lieux intéressants à visiter. Par contre le parking privé est parfois pris par des véhicules qui ne sont pas de la résidence et le chemin privé est utilisé par beaucoup de gens extérieur à la résidence ce qui fait du passage qui pourrait être évité. Einerseits ist man in nur 4 Minuten zu Fuß am wahrscheinlich besten Schnorchelstrand der Insel (wir haben auf bis jetzt drei Besuchen auf Guadeloupe schon viele verschiedene Strände besucht). Kaum hat man einen Schritt ins Meer gesetzt, beginnen die Korallen und es wimmelt vor bunten Fischen. Auch Kraken, Tintenfische, Aale und, wenn man Glück hat, Langusten sind zu sehen. Das Highlight sind aber die Wasserschildkröten. Andererseits ist man schnell an der Küstenstraße (von der man nur selten etwas hört) und an der Route de la Traversée, die auf den anderen Inselteil führt. So kann man alle Orte von Guadeloupe in relativ kurzer Zeit erreichen. Dadurch kann man morgens im Regenwald wandern und nachmittags noch mal schnorcheln. Einfach ideal! Im Appartement ist alles Notwendige vorhanden (Handtücher, Geschirr, Besteck, Küchenutensilien, leise Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern, usw.). Schade ist nur, dass sich die Klappen der scheibenlosen Fenster im Wohnzimmer nicht vollständig schließen lassen oder Moskitonetze haben (was sich wegen des Schließmechanismus der Fensterklappen auch nur durch abnehmbare Moskitofensterrahmen bewerkstelligen ließe). Deshalb muss man selbst im Wohnzimmer Mückenschutz auftragen. Auch ein abknickbarer Sonnenschirm wäre wünschenswert, ansonsten kann man die Morgensonne (die schon ordentlich brennt) auf der Terrasse nicht abschirmen. Während unseres Aufenthalts ist die Waschmaschine kaputt gegangen. Natalie und Emilie haben sich sofort um eine neue gekümmert, so dass wir in kürzester Zeit wieder waschen konnten. Just .33 miles to many dive shops ready to take out divers around Cousteau Reserve. We paid for both but quickly realized it is not necessary. We spent hours upon hours explore the reef off the beach and finding something each time. Turtles are abundant with eels, squid, rays, etc. About the home: Parking is provided above the home which is located on the side of a mountain. Getting to the car or beach requires walking up/down a steep slope. Upon entry there is a kitchen and dining table with a living space to the left. This is an open space with no windows (so bugs will be sharing the space with you). When slats are open, a bird or two may pop in. The cool mountain breeze helps it stay cool along with the fans. One master bedroom with ensuite on 1st floor with A/C. Large spaces with ample closet space. To get upstairs, there are steep, narrow steps to a full bedroom (also has A/C) and second bathroom. There is ample space for a family of 4\. Internet was available for email and communication. The communication with the owner and the manager was easy and they assisted us with our stay, despite the language barrier. We were thankful for their kindness and understanding. Accès à la plage à 5 min à pied, ce qui permet de ne pas prendre la voiture (et de ne pas payer le parking!) La plage est super! De très beaux récifs coralliens, on peut voir pleins de tortues. Parking facile, très peu de marche pour accéder à la résidence. Cependant nous avons eu des soucis avec l'accès internet quasi inexistant (elle l'a modifié dans l'annonce) et le logement mérite clairement un grand coup de rafraîchissement (vis sur la terrasse qui ressort, peinture, chasse d'eau, douche qui fuit, trace d'humidité, etc) La communication a toujours été bonne avec la propriétaire et nous avons pu trouver un compromis. Elle nous avait prévenue qu'elle n'avait pas pu venir depuis 2 ans (pour des raisons de covid) et nous espérons qu'elle pourra y remédié car cette maison possède beaucoup d'atouts. La personne qui nous a accueillie sur place est très sympa et très disponible. Au niveau équipement, nous n'avons manqué de rien! Il y a même sur place parapluie et palme/masque/tuba. Bref je vous conseil ce logement une fois rafraîchit ;) ##### valérie l.
