"Our villa was wonderful, large spacious room. The staff came twice to our villa to carry out housekeeping. The Royal Sands Koh Rong certainly has an eye for detail and think of everything a traveller needs. We are very glad we stayed here. Special mention to Kean and Sela who were amazingly welcoming and assisted with all our various queries. Sela booked us a car to pick us up from Sihanoukville pier to our hotel. The Royal Sands made our stay on Koh Rong perfect!"

"The staff were amazing they knew it was our anniversary so upgraded us to a beach front room. The location was amazing right on the beach. 1 minute walk from the pier. The resort was very friendly and comfortable. Swings and hammocks were everywhere. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Only downside was the WiFi wasn’t the strongest. "Great location - quiet end of the beach! The bungalows were lovely. Hospitality wasn’t great - not he warm welcome and customer service we’d had before coming to the islands. Sun beds on the beach were a great bonus although you need to get out early as there’s not enough for all paying guests."

"The staff at the property really want to do a good job for you. Looking at the surrounding properties, it is kept in the best condition.. they try to keep the beach, clean and all the facilities clean. Surrounding areas on the beach, suffer from the same problems of too much garbage, but this place is a good microcosm on the island. Thanks for a great stay. "

"We stayed at Eden for 3 nights & it was beautiful. The staff are all super friendly & helpful. The food was lovely. Breakfast was a little limited on choice & coffee not great but everything else was great. As some one else mentioned the price advertised does not include tax so you pay more when the bill comes. But it is a small Island & understandable food & drink is going to be more expensive . I hope the Island remains it charm for many more years to come. "

"Rooms weren’t very clean, bathroom is a wet room that doesn’t dry out - so constantly have wet feet. Bathroom had not been cleaned for our arrival. I’d say even for budget backpacking this place was poor and I wouldn’t recommend it. The area is very local, quite loud and pretty dirty. I think staying at longset beach would be much nicer. "

"On arrival All seemed great, staff friendly, helpful, restaurant and food good, pool clean, I witness they keep it clean. Quite a big cabin, once you get the hang of the shower all good. Loved all the extras, water, toothbrush, razor, soaps ect. What I didn't like was my room look great when I arrived. When I went to bed, i realised the bedding wasn't changed over from the last person, yuk. Sand in the bed and stains. This was rectify the next morning and a apology. Sad I had to spend a night in dirt sheets. Unpleasant. I was also given a white towel with very heavy stains on it. That made me feel even more unhappy. Shame as the cabins are quite nice and the aircon works well. "
