The home was clean and had everything we needed. Shower was great with lots of hot water and bed was comfortable. Being on the first floor made access easy. Both Jackson Station and Stony Brook Stations on the Orange Line are close with easy access to downtown Boston. Great walking trails along the Southwest Corridor. Both a local corner market and larger Stop and Shop are also walking distance. We never needed a car but there was street parking if needed. Definitely would stay here again. ##### Laura E. The property was just as advertised. It isn't particularly close to the heart of downtown, but can be reached via train and car fairly easily. Given the price this was understandable. There was generally enough parking although it is street parking. The overhead lighting fixture in the bedroom wasn't working, but there was another lamp so that also wasn't the end of the world. This was our first trip to Boston, and we lucked out finding this spot. The unit was cute and clean. The outside deck is a nice shaded area to relax. It has everything you need for a home away from home. We cooked several meals while we stayed and had everyhing needed. The building and neighborhood were pretty quiet. One of the air conditioners didnt work but the host was very quick to get it fixed. There are several other historic towns within a short drive that made for great day trips such as Salem, Plymouth, Cape Cod.The downside, the hall leading to the apartment and the back patio could use some sprucing up. I would also add, if you have a car pay close attention to the street signs concerning the sweepers. We didnt realize it was different weeks for each side of the road and had our rental car towed.
