It includes 1 King, 1 Double, & 1 Twin size private bedrooms. The unit is extremely clean and remarkably decorated. Only a 5 minute walk to Ashmont station (red line), which takes you directly to Downtown Boston, Harvard Square, South Boston, Kendall/MIT, U Mass. There are two great restaurants nearby - Molinari’s and Tavolo Ristorante, as well as a local coffee shop + a Dunkin just across the T Station. The Space: This historical property was built in 1894\. It is located in Ashmont Hill, which is an area within Boston's Dorchester neighborhood that is known for their beautiful Victorian homes & its diverse and eclectic neighborhood. The house is located only about a five minute walk from Ashmont metro station, which is the first or last station on the red line. Extremely convenient. The Ashmont Suite is Unit 2 (2nd & 3rd Floor) of this Victorian two family home to which we have converted into a unique Guest House and Outdoor Living Space that is open year round, with the exception of The Office, which is closed during the winter months. \*\*\*IF YOU ARE PLANNING OR LOOKING FOR A SPACE TO HOST A PARTY/EVENT/FRIENDS, OR TO BE IN A SPACE TO BE LOUD, THIS IS NOT THE SPACE FOR YOU. Guest Access: The Ashmont Suite is a 3 bedroom / 2 bathroom condominium. One bedroom (The Antler Room) has a twin size bed. The second (The Buddha Room) has a double size bed. And the third (The Master Room) has a king size bed. The Buddha and Master Bedrooms are located on the 3rd floor, and share the 3rd floor bathroom. While the Antler Room is located on the 2nd floor, and has its own bathroom adjacent to the bedroom. The condo includes an open living room/dining and kitchen. Long term guests (7+ days or more) may also have access to the in-unit washer and dryer, if needed. Please kindly reach out to your host if you need to use the washer and dryer. Tout s'est très bien passĂ© de l'accueil au dĂ©part. L'appartement a beaucoup de luminositĂ© et très propre. Il est situĂ© Ă  dix minutes de marche environs du mĂ©tro de la ligne rouge et des diffĂ©rents commerces; dĂ©panneurs et restaurants. Quelques suggestions d'amĂ©liorations de l'expĂ©rience client serait: d'avoir plus de casseroles pour cuisiner, il y avait aucune paire de ciseau et pas assez de serviettes de bain et serviette Ă  main. Nous en avions seulement une de chacune pour chaque personne pour le sĂ©jour. Des informations Ă©crites dans l'appartement auraient Ă©tĂ© apprĂ©ciĂ©es pour nous indiquer oĂą se situe le mĂ©tro, dĂ©panneur, pharmacie, etc. En passant, aucune grosse Ă©picerie. Il a fallu, nous dĂ©brouiller pour tout trouver. VoilĂ  pour les points Ă  amĂ©liorer. Personnellement, le matelas du lit Ă©tait trop dur pour nous deux. Il est Ă©vident que ça varie d'une personne Ă  l'autre. Pour ceux qui aiment un matelas dur, vous serez ravie. Finalement, nous n'avons pas aimĂ© les alentours du mĂ©tro. Il y avait constamment des agents de polices, des gens qui avait l'air peu recommandables et les rues Ă©taient sales avec des mauvaises odeurs. Par contre, la rue de l'appartement Ă©tait bien. Ça n'enlève en rien Ă  la très belle qualitĂ© de l'appartement et de l'accueil que nous avons reçus. So many positives; comfortable beds, really roomy space so lots of ability to move around and store items, parking directly outside for free, our own entrance and amazing kitchen facilities. Was great to be able to wash clothes too. Location wise it is an 8-10 min walk to the metro station then a quick and easy ride into Boston. While the home is an 1890's Victorian, the interior is new, and the classic character of the home shines through. The is a 5 minute walk to the Ashmont MBTA subway station. And surface transportation is about 4 houses away. Eddie's pride of ownership is obvious. He maintains the home very well. Kudos to Eddie for his rapid responses to my inquiries. The host Eddie, graciously helped me navigate the whole situation along with numerous logistics during the trip. Hands down one of the best hosts I have ever had! The property was amazing, great location, great outdoor spaces (very important in Boston where land is a premium) and many ammenities. It was in a quiet older neighborhood. The home was clean, well appointed and truly had every thing we needed. Communication from the owner was timely and clear. The suite is in a beautifully restored old home with two other suites. Ours was in the top section of the home which required moving suitcases up quite a few steps. The interior decor is very pleasing. Beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the back yard space as well. The location is 30-35 minutes to the core of Boston by car. The metro is close but we were warned by locals about the area. We opted to Uber and never had a problem. The hosts were super helpful and very quick to reply to any messages.
