Private 2 Bedroom close to Boston and Salem! Enjoy the entire private 1st-floor apartment of this home, which was built in 1910\. This home has updated amenities while keeping the charm of the original design. This 1200 square feet of living space has a beautiful, private porch to enjoy the outdoors. This home is located within walking distance to a quaint downtown full of great restaurants and shops. This location is great for people looking to visit Boston, Encore Casino, Salem and New England.  
  
This apartment has been recently updated while maintaining the original charm of this 1910-era home. Guests will enjoy a private 2-bedroom apartment with its own entrance. You will gain entry with a keyless lock with a passcode. There is off-street parking for 2 cars. There is a comfy TV room with a smart TV. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, one with three twin beds (1 set of bunk beds and 1 floor level). Enjoy your coffee or dinner on the lovely and spacious private front porch. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking at home, if that's your thing - dishwasher, disposal, stove, microwave, refrigerator, drip coffee maker and toaster.  
  
This apartment is located on a quiet, dead-end street in a safe neighborhood. There is a park just across the street that has a basketball court, a baseball diamond, green space, and a play structure. This home is just a short walking distance to the vibrant Main Street area, which has coffee shops, a post office, a grocery store, gift shops, restaurants, a wine and cheese shop, and much, much more!   
  
Just down the street is the Middlesex Fells Reservation, which contains over 2500 acres for hiking, rock climbing or cross country skiing. It includes 340 acre Spot Pond which offers sailing, kayak, canoe, and rowboat rentals during the summer. Sailing lessons are also available.  
  
Mount Hood is a wonderful public golf course in Melrose and a short drive from the house.  
  
This home is 6 miles from Boston and close to public transit stations (MBTA). Oak Grove (The Orange Line ) is less than 1 mile. There are numerous bus stops close by that will bring you to Oak Grove. The Wyoming Hill Commuter Rail Station is within walking distance. This train station is two stops away from North Station Boston/Boston Garden (home of the Boston Celtics and Boston Bruins) and a gateway station to all of Boston attractions and neighborhoods. This home is located 5 miles from the Encore Casino, 7 miles from Logan Airport, 10 miles from Salem MA. Melrose is located close to major highways Rt. 93, Rt 95 and Rt 1 which will make visiting the New England Sea Coast, historic Salem MA, Mountains and Lakes very convenient. Melrose is a great jumping-off point to all of these locations!

This home was perfect for a little getaway to Boston!! Super close to newbury street with many shops and close to Salem as well! The house was so clean and homey and Sarah was great at communicating. Would recommend to others!!
