It was a very clean apartment, and the host was very friendly and helpful. I really love the music theme decor. We had never been to the area, and it had kind of a San Francisco vibe with a few roads that were REALLY big hills (so fun). Only 11 miles to Salem, but you need to take in account the amount of traffic in the Salem area during the Halloween season, it adds quite a bit of time to the drive. There were many stores and such, close by, and the hospital was really close too, if it had been needed, thank God it was not. Thank you Gabriel for a great stay! ##### Katie C. The first picture is a little misleading, since the house is actually in more of a suburban neighborhood instead of a historic one, but the area was still fairly nice, and we could easily take the bus into Boston or commuter train up to Salem. The private entrance/driveway was convenient. The rental itself is in a basement but was still spacious, clean, private, and looked to be recently renovated. It was refreshing to come back to the home after a long day of sightseeing and be able to relax and sleep on a very comfortable mattress. Also, the owner was very easy to reach with any questions and even let us check in a little early! Overall, we had a wonderful stay in Everett. ##### Emily C. Short drive to Boston. Private parking was a nice option since it’s so hard to find parking. The apartment was clean however it’s a quirky odd setup. The front door lock was a little confusing and required an app be downloaded to my phone to gain access to the apartment. No WiFi internet for the first two days. Shower was a little confusing and had to be turned off to activate the handheld wand and then turned back on. The bed is VERY low to the floor and hard. We frequently travel and use home rentals but this was not one of our favorites. ##### christina h. The floor was tiled, so calling it slippery would be an understatement. One of us almost fell twice in the bathroom. We had to use a towel and wipe the entire floorof the whole apparmenbefore we could walk around without shoes. The upstairs neighbour has a dog that we could clearly hear and we could hear their conversations - so at least bear that in mind if you are considering the place. I somehow missed the fact that there was no kitchen sink. We just rinsed our coffee mugs out in the bathroom sink so that worked out ok. The bed was fine and we slept well. The pillows were very flat though. The AC unit worked well which was good given the high temps we had while there. We made use of the clothes steamer and it worked perfect. The couch has seen better days. It has several tears in it that were covered up with a blanket. No big deal as we didn’t really spend much time there. I appreciated the full length mirror and the apartment was clean. Another review mentioned a smell. There is an odor but I think it is just age as the home is older and it’s a basement apartment. It was not offensive or distracting. It was great to have off street parking. There is a really good restaurant nearby called the Chelsea Station.
